Here is the car you have been waiting to own!  My 540hp 95 Chevy Impala 6 speed!  This is a completely customized car, with concern for the smallest detail.  It would take too much space and time to identify every work done on this car, but I will highlight some for you, and the pics will show more.  Also, you can call (7168676388).  When I purchased this car, it had just under 53k original miles on it.  This car was factory black cherry in color.

First, the color on the car is Satin Black.  This paint job cost $14k alone!!  Body is completely straight.  Absolutely no rust.  Car completely disassembled, and painted.  For anyone who knows Satin Black, it is an extremely hard paint job that requires the body of the car to be perfect, and the painter has to be an expert.  Secondly, the engine is a new 500hp Golen LT1 Engine (@ a cost of over $9k), with the add ons the horsepower is around 540!  This engine was made to order!!  I have only put just over 2k miles on this engine.  I also morphed the car into a 6 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter.  Any SS that's not a 6 speed is only a pretender in muscle cardom!!  This is the real deal!  This is complete with a lockout reverse gear, just to be safe.  To say this car is fast is an understatement!!  IT'S A BEAST!!  This is a race car, with street cred, and car show appeal!!

Thirdly, the interior of the car is all new.  Suede panels, sides, dash, roof, and new leather seating.  Racing seats in the front (power and heated).  ***Original factory seats have new leather to match the car, and they come with the sale of the car.  The car is completely dynamatted (i.e. trunk, doors, floor, roof).  Heated seats.  New carpet.  New stereo (i.e. speakers, custom sub, Pioneer DVD, GPS, Bluetooth, Pandora, I Phone, Satellite Radio, Reverse Camera).

Other Highlights: Cross Drilled Rotors ($700), Brakes, Brite Interior Lighting, Even The Seat Belts Are New!!  Throttle Body, K&N Cold Air Intake, Cams, Headers, Custom tinted front and rear lights with HIDs.  Police wigwag lights.  Custom mesh grille.  Rear DVD and Passenger DVD.  Remote start, 2 way alarm, and I Phone App for Omega Link.  Custom Tint.  18" American Racing Wheels and tires.  Factory wheels are in great condition and come with the sale of the car, if you want.  Custom dual Exhaust (Sounds AWESOME!!).  The car is presently sitting on specially ordered lowering springs.  I have the complete air suspension kit - 2 remotes and main display - that I bought and had professionally installed for the car (used in car show) that can come with the sale of the car for an additional $2500k.  Original steering wheel comes with the sale.

One professional customizing shop performed every work on this car, so all the POs and detailed list of work and information is easily accessible.  I am selling because I need another challenge.  This car is simply the best!  I get stopped by the average driver and police alike, who just want to see and talk about the car.  It is flawless!  I am selling locally, so it may end auction early.

I have looked at every other 94-96 Impala SS on 5 different car sites, and none top mine!  I personally have over 60k invested!  If you are looking for that 1 car that sets you apart, and satisfies your need for performance - this is it!  Call for any questions 7168676388.   ***ABSOLUTELY NO EMAILS!!  I WILL NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS!!  ONLY SERIOUS DRIVERS BIDDING PLEASE!!!!

Peter Max staring down $1M lawsuit over Corvette collection sale

Wed, Dec 17 2014

Pop artist Peter Max recently sold off his collection of 36 vintage Chevrolet Corvettes – one each from 1953 to 1989 – for an undisclosed amount. The new owners have already announced plans to restore some of them and auction the models off sometime soon. Up until then, the sports cars had been languishing in various garages around New York City for decades and were caked in dust and grime. However, Max's end of the transaction has just become more complicated, because two men are suing the artist claiming he employed them to complete the deal first. The men allege that Max hired them to broker the sale of the 36 Corvettes in exchange for a 10-percent commission, according to the New York Post. They claim to have emails and text messages proving the existence of the deal, and are taking Max to court for $1 million over the squabble. The collection of Corvettes was amassed in 1989 as part of a prize package from the television network VH1, and Max bought the cars from the winner intending on using them for an art project. He never got around to it, though, and parked the sports cars around New York, until he finally sold them over the summer.

Indian tuner turns Chevy Optra into Mustang 'Eleanor' replica

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

If you are a big fan of automotive oddities, this may come as a little treat. If you are a Shelby or Mustang diehard, prepare to have your sensibilities violated.
The master fabricators at BigDaddyCustoms are the minds behind what you see above. At first, it appears to be a slightly misshapen custom Mustang, modeled after "Eleanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds, but upon further examination, something appears to be amiss. In fact, the custom shop, based in India, has created an Eleanor replica grafted upon a lowly Chevrolet Optra. While it may take a second for the Optra to ring a bell, you should recognize its badge-engineered sibling, the Daewoo Lacetti, used on Top Gear.
We don't know what star would opt for the Reasonably Priced Car in Shelby's clothing, but it's clearly someone more concerned with the aesthetic than the performance credentials of this automotive mash-up.

Motor Trend puts Chevy Camaro Z28 and Porsche 911 GT3 Head 2 Head

Mon, Dec 29 2014

Motor Trend admits, "This is an unfair comparison." But that doesn't make it any less fun to watch when they pit a Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3. The former has a 7.0-liter V8 with 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque shifted through a six-speed manual. The latter has a 3.8-liter flat-six with 475 hp and 324 lb-ft shifted through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yet those are only the little disparities – the big disparities are mass and money: the Camaro weighs 3,882 pounds and costs $76,150 as-tested, the Porsche weighs 3,267 pounds and costs $145,785. But they're both about hardcore performance, so MT takes them out on the street, to the drag strip, to the parking lot for figure eights and a skidpad test, and finally to Big Willow for Randy Pobst to give his professional assessment. Remember when a lotta people spent a lotta time debating Pirates vs. Ninjas? This is like that, only it's the "haul-ass good-time car" vs. the "track surgeon." Enjoy the debate in the video.
