Vehicle Condition: This was a fleet-maintained vehicle and was serviced on a regular basis. It runs and drives good. Transmission shifts all gears as it should. It has 3.9L should last up to 400K or over with proper maintenance. The exterior looks good, but does have scratches, dents and dings and some spots have been touched up all around the car. Hood, front bumper have been replaced and paint does not shine. Just normal every day wear and tear. After all, this is a used police vehicle. The interior is also in good condition with minor wear. Tires are used but in overall good condition. They have approximately 65% tread remaining. Overall,. It starts and runs and drives very good. The Jitterbugs somersaulted at the 1986 Chicago Auto Show for the Chevy Nova
Tue, Dec 30 2014Judging by the vintage videos that the Chicago Auto Show has been uploading, if you wanted to check out the latest vehicles and watch some dancers in the same place in the late '80s and early '90s, then the Windy City event was definitely the place to be. We've already seen the Footlockers pitching the Cavalier in '88 and a troupe of women singing about the Geo brand in '91. Apparently, the trend went back even further, though. Just take a look at this group called the Jitterbugs selling some badge-engineered products from Chevrolet at the 1986 show. Flanked by the Chevy Nova and Spectrum, these guys managed to do a few pretty impressive jumps and somersaults but mixed them with some rather uninspired spins, as well. Also, wait for 1:24 into the clip to see the least enthusiastic backup dancers that the world has ever known. The Jitterbugs are even further proof that Chevy's habit of mixing dancing and its vehicles goes back even further than the Volt. Chevrolet planning low-cost Corvette under Stingray?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013If you're burnt out on musings about the Chevrolet Corvette, you'll want to go ahead and skip this post. Motor Trend reports General Motors is hard at work on a low-cost version of the seventh-generation sports car for 2015. Rumored to be called the Corvette Coupe, the car will forgo the Stingray and skip the 450-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine in favor of a 5.3-liter V8 with under 400 ponies. If you're keeping track, that's a shade of the same engine found behind the headlights of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The report also suggests the Coupe will receive a number of aesthetic tweaks to separate it from the Stingray, including different front and rear fascias as well as new front fenders and a rear diffuser. Motor Trend says the point of all this is to cut the car's price tag, which means we may see a Corvette on showroom floors for less than $50,000 if this car comes to fruition.

Sat, Mar 7 2015Chevrolet wants to make sure that if people are in the market for a midsize pickup, then there is a Colorado available to fit their desires. For businesses, there's the recently unveiled box delete package and for those looking for a customized look, there's the GearOn Edition. For the latest Z71 Trail Boss version, the automaker is going for folks planning to go off-road. As the name suggests, all Trail Boss versions of the Colorado start with the already off-road-inlined Z71 trim level, including its 305-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 and six-speed automatic, and the package can be added to practically any body variant: extended or crew cab, long or short bed and rear- or four-wheel drive. To set things apart, there's a locking rear differential, front tow hooks, darkened 17-inch wheels that are shod with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires and on the four-wheel drive models, a transfer case shield. For some extra style, the Colorado Trail Boss wears black parts for the fender flares, side steps and Bowtie badges. The bed also gets a spray-on liner and a few parts from the GearOn accessory catalog, including the tie-down rings, load bar and cargo divider. The Trail Boss goes on sale in the spring, and to add all of this equipment to a Colorado, it costs $3,320 in addition to the price of any Z71 trim model. The Trail Boss goes on sale this spring with a starting price of $28,505 plus the package price of $3,320. "The Chevrolet Colorado Z71 Trail Boss Edition is equally at home blazing an urban trail or following one to a favorite remote campground," said Tony Johnson, Colorado marketing manager.
