The mileage is all highway miles. I used the car for company business travel.
This car gives me great fuel economy of a 4 cyl engine with the power of a 5.3 V8 when you need it.
While on the highway its running in 4 cyl mode at 28 MPG!
Overall combined mileage of city & highway is 22 to 24 MPG.
Mobil One extended performance oil (6 qts) was used exclusivly with K & N filters.
When it was time to replace the brakes I choose Stainless steel drilled rotors with upgraded ceramic pads.
Best choice for brake performance in wet or dry situations. No brake dust or rust!
Check the prices for similar cars and you will see I priced this SS at a very fair price.
Great looking and running car that needs a new home.
Now for the "bad list" . Because this car spent its life on the highway it has typical stone chips to the frt hood area. No rust but paint chips.
The lt rear door has two scratches from a careless person in a parking lot. No dent but the pain is scratched. The rear bumper cover has a scratch in the center. Look closely in the photos as they don't show up very well but you can see them.
This car is in great condition. I can share additional photos of any area you would like to see. Please ask any questions or come out to inspect it and drive it before you buy. It runs great and handles fantastic.
The reserve is set below the "private party retail value" listed on Edmunds TMV . Please bid what you can afford and want to pay to purchase this car. Your bid is a binding agreement to purchase the car. Sorry to have to include this but I've been burned by non-paying bidders.
The winning bidder must send a 500.00 non-refundable deposit by PayPal within 48 Hrs of winning the bid. Balance must be paid in full within 10 days before title is transferred and vehicle released for delivery.
Shipping: I can assist with delivery of the car but all shipping costs are the purchasers responcibility. I can deliver the car to you for a reasonable mileage charge of 1.00 per mile round trip. ( limited to 200 miles from my home).
I would urge anyone considering bidding & purchasing ANY car online to have an independent inspection or inspect it personally before you place your bid on the car. You can have your mechanic look at the car and you can drive it. I want you to be 100% sure of the quality of this car and I have nothing to hide. I'm the 2nd owner of this car. I purchased it as a certified used car from Sharon Chevrolet with 15,000 miles. This was my personal car that I used for business travel ( reason for high miles) .
Reason for selling? My company has provided its field staff with company cars so I no longer need the car for business travel. I have a couple other restoration projects in the works and need the money to finish them. I could also use the space in my driveway.
I also have it listed in local classifieds so I reserve the right to end this ad at anytime. Please check prices of similar car

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
Recharge Wrap-up: Panasonic, Tesla on Gigafactory deal?
Tue, Jul 29 2014Bentley has been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard for reductions of carbon, water use and waste production in manufacturing. The Carbon Trust is an organization that helps groups such as businesses and governments reduce carbon emissions, use of energy and resources, and waste output. From 2011 to 2013, Bentley reduced CO2 emissions by 16 percent per car manufactured, curtailed water use by 35.7 percent, and saw significant waste reductions. Darran Messem of Carbon trust says, "Bentley is clearly passionate about continuing to improve its environmental performance, which is reflected by the fact the company has consistently invested in new technology." Read more in the press release below. Chevrolet is giving 12 Volts to MBAs Across America. The organization will use the range-extended electric cars in its efforts to help MBA students learn from and work with small business owners. As part of the MBAs Across America program's first year, four students drove 8,000 miles to provide entrepreneurs with free business counseling. The program has expanded, and this year, teams of MBAs will use the Volts to travel to 25 cities to offer their services. Learn more about the partnership between Chevrolet and MBAs Across America in the press release below. A professor from the University of Michigan has found fuel cycle analysis to be too flawed to be relied upon for measuring CO2 impacts of transportation fuels. Professor John DeCicco of the university's Energy Institute feels that the flaws in calculating the carbon footprint of liquid fuel production and combustion make such lifecycle analysis impractical. He suggests, instead, to focus to carbon capture. Since capturing CO2 directly from a vehicle is probably never going to happen, DiCicco believes the solution is to capture carbon from the atmosphere in sectors outside of transportation. Says DiCicco, "Research should be ramped up on options for increasing the rate at which CO2 is removed from the atmosphere and on programs to manage and utilize carbon fixed in the biosphere, which offers the best CO2 removal mechanism now at hand. Such strategies can complement measures that control the demand for liquid fuels by reducing travel activity, improving vehicle efficiency and shifting to non-carbon fuels." Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes
Wed, 31 Oct 2012It seems the Pontiac Trans Am steadfastly refuses to die. Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.
