Here is a numbers matching 1965 Chevy Impala Sport Coupe 327/250 HP and still has Factory 3 Speed on the Column showing 44,000 miles ( I can't verify miles so it may be 144,000 ). This car sat in a building for many years but was started up to keep everything lubed. The car was freshened up about 2 years ago. During this process the 327 engine was rebuilt by Tim Gaines out of Carrollton, Ga with the car showing 10,000 miles on odometer so motor has 34,000 miles on it. The car was also re painted the factory color of Madeira Maroon with the Factory black interior at the same time. It has new dual exhaust on it as well as new bumpers. The rear is a 12 bolt rear. There are a couple places on the body where there is rust bubbles but not bad and you really have to look to see. Car runs and drives really good. It has rally wheels with nearly new tires. I still have the original wheels as well if you had rather have the original look. The engine has double hump heads. I have the paperwork showing this car was bought new right here in Bremen, Ga. I have the Original Invoice, Original Title and Original Window Sticker. This car has always been in Georgia. Very clean and solid underneath the car. The trunk looks good and had a spare. Very straight down the sides. Paint is not show quality but above driver quality. This is a good car that is turn key.

I reserve the right to end auction early as car is also For Sale locally. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged but that is your choice. This is a good original Impala that needs only a new home. Let it be yours!!

I WOULD RATE THE PAINT AND BODY ON THIS CAR AM 8 OUT OF 10. i HAVE PIC OF THE ONE SPOT IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE. ALSO HAVE ALOT MORE PICS AND UNDERCARRIAGE PICS AS WELL.

800k car names trademarked globally, suddenly alphanumerics seem reasonable

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

What's in a name? This cliched phrase probably gets tossed out at every marketing meeting that happens when a new car gets its nomenclature. We know the answer, though: everything. The name of a car has all the potential to make or break it with fickle customers that are more conscious than ever about what their purchases say about them.
That's giving headaches to marketing folks across the automotive industry. "It's tough. In 1985 there were about 75,000 names trademarked in the automotive space. Today there are 800,000," Chevrolet's head of marketing, Russ Clark, told Automotive News. Infiniti's president, Johan de Nysschen, echoed Clark's sentiment, saying, "The truth of the matter is, across the world, there is hardly a name or a letter that hasn't already been claimed by one car manufacturer or another. You can go through the alphabet - A, B, C and so forth - and you will quickly see that almost all available letters are taken."
What has that left automakers to do? Get creative. In the case of Infiniti, it made the controversial move to bring all of its cars' names into a new scheme, classifying them as Q#0 for cars and QX#0 for SUVs and crossovers. So the Infiniti G, which was available as the G25 and G37, is now the Q50. The FX37 and FX50 are now the QX70.

Chevy: The Big Game

Chevrolet took an early lead for the 2015 Super Bowl advertising crown with its spot for the all-new, 4G LTE-capable Colorado pickup in a spot that simulated a problem with your TV. The stark, simple ad then states that if you're lucky enough to have an Internet-capable vehicle, like the new Colorado, you'd at least be able to stream the game. A clever, chuckle-inducing spot if there was one. Check out our full write up of the new, 2015 Colorado. Marketing/Advertising Chevrolet Truck Super Bowl Commercials Videos 2015 super bowl ad

GM will recall more than 3.3 million vehicles in China for suspension defect

Sat, Sep 29 2018

BEIJING (Reuters) - General Motors' joint venture in China, Shanghai GM, will recall more than 3.3 million Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles stating Oct. 20 because of a defect with the suspension system, China's market regulator said on Saturday. GM Shanghai said in a text message to Reuters that the suspension arm may be deformed under extreme operating conditions, but there are no known casualties related to the issue. The recall includes cars produced between 2013 and 2018, the State Administration for Market Regulation said in a statement. GM will contact those affected and repair the vehicles free of charge, it said.
