PRICE REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE CALL AND SAVE $ THIS VEHICLE IS SHOW CAR READY! This is not your everyday average 2009 HHR. This is a LIKE-NEW fully serviced and detailed flamed out SUPER SPORT with a Turbo Charged 250HP 4-cylinder engine and 5 speed manual transmission with SUPER low miles! It also has a Sunroof  Suede and Leather Super Sport Seating with premium stitching and SS badges embroidered on the seats a Factory Ground Effects Package with brand new 20 inch Chrome Wheels. The paint job alone costs over $9,500.00 (mainly hours of labor). This HHR has a rebuilt title. However, when I received the vehicle I did a complete inspection but unlike most other private sellers I DID NOT STOP THERE. I spent over $8,000.00 servicing this vehicle so you wouldn't have to and I also have documentation from The State Of Tennessee's Anti-Theft And Safety Inspection Unit that supports my findings. In addition to the normal synthetic blend oil change I also replaced the right front suspension, right front fender, and front bumper cover but it goes on... I also replaced the factory wheels and tires with brand new 20 inch chrome rims and performed an alignment! If another private seller lists a similar vehicle online for a lower price I challenge you to compare vehicles in person. I am confident that you will find my vehicle to be a better value because I  fully serviced and had this vehicle professionally repaired. Don't settle for a USED CAR when you can buy a LIKE-NEW vehicle! I decided to sell this vehicle because car show season is over and I have a sedan that I consider my daily driver. In other words, this beauty is currently just sitting in the garage. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY 615-513-8532 or 513-376-2585

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

Recharge Wrap-up: Free chargers for Canadian ELR buyers, Renovo gets funding for EV supercar

Chevrolet offers versions of its Express passenger van with B20 biodiesel and E85 capability. Customers can buy the van with the Duramax turbodiesel V8, which is compatible with the 20-percent biodiesel blend. There is also a FlexFuel V8, which can use the 85-percent ethanol gasoline blend. It's a great option for shuttling the whole soccer team to practice using renewable fuels. Read more at Domestic Fuels. Early buyers of the Cadillac ELR in Canada will get a 240-volt charger installed at their home for free. It should help convince some buyers to adopt the range extended luxury EV. Cadillac's Chief Marketing Officer Uwe Ellinghaus says, "Professional installation of the fastest home-charging unit is a natural way to mark the introduction of ELR to the luxury market." The impressive EV, with its 500 horsepower and 1,000 pound-feet of torque, is an inspiring vehicle built by a promising company, according to its financial backers. Toni Schneider of True Ventures says that Renovo has "created incredibly advanced technology and a beautiful machine that is well positioned to disrupt the automotive market." Germany has lifted its ban on Uber. While the German court believes the ride-hailing service is operating illegally without proper licensing for drivers, it says Taxi Deutschland waited too long to file the case against Uber. The taxi association plans to appeal the decision soon. See more in the video below, and read more at The New York Times. A new report from UC Davis claims that a global expansion of public transit could save 1,700 megatons of carbon dioxide yearly and over $100 trillion by 2050. A "high-shift scenario" would be necessary, wherein governments invest in rail and clean buses, expand biking and walking infrastructure and shift focus away from projects that encourage car use. This shift to public transit would especially be important in the US, China and India. Read more in the press release below.

GM laying off 500 workers to slow Chevy Sonic production

Sat, Oct 24 2015

Due to slow sales of the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, General Motors is cutting a shift at the Orion Township plant that builds the pair. The move lays off about 500 workers, but most of them are expected to get offers to transfer to other factories, Automotive News reports. The move came just a day after GM announced adding 1,200 employees to the Detroit-Hamtramck plant. GM has been trying all year at the Orion Township factory to align production of the Sonic and Verano with their demand. The automaker first attempted idling the plant several times and eventually resorted to laying off about 100 workers. It also reduced the production rate there. With the huge rise in popularity of crossovers, demand for the plant's small cars is on the downturn. According to Automotive News, there's currently a 116-day supply of Sonics and 100 days of Veranos to sell. Delivers tell a similar tale because the Chevy is off 35.2 percent from January to September, and the Buick does little better with a 27.2 percent drop from the same period last year. While the situation at Orion Township might look rough now, big things are on the horizon. Soon, the new Chevy Bolt electric vehicle will be built there when it hits the market around 2017. Plus, the plant will also get a $245-million upgrade and 300 new jobs for another, unannounced vehicle.
