This is a 2007 Chev. 3500 Express 15 pass. window van that we ( BAY PORT MTRS. LUXEMBURG, WI. ) just purchased and will now sell on Ebay the same way we sell all our items, NO-RESERVE. We play no games , high bidder at auctions end, buys it. The 6.0- V8 engine runs just as it should with no leaks or problems to mention. The auto. trans also operates just as it should and also has no leaks. About the only mechanical issue I can tell you is front brake rotors pulsate a little when applying the brakes so you will have to get the rotors turned or replaced. All power options work just as they should. Goes down the road good. The 245/75/16 tires are very good. Odometer shows 153,191 mi. but van looks and drives like one with alot less mi. on it. Car fax shows that 4 yrs. ago and 100,000 mi. less it was in an accident. No mention of how serious but no brands on the title anywhere. Had it on my hoist to check frame, etc. and no problems to mention. I assume that is when they painted it black, was white but looks good. Not new , but good. Any questions at all please call me , John 920 713-4700 and I will be as honest and helpful as I can be . If no answer you can call my wife Melissa 920 562-3029 and she can always find me. Comes with a clean Wi. title. Thanks , John

Why the Corvette's Performance Data Recorder can be illegal in some states

Fri, 26 Sep 2014

The Performance Data Recorder with Valet Mode available on the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray seems like a fantastic tool for many owners. Whether they are taking 720p video while lapping the track in their new 'Vette, or just want to protect their purchase from inconsiderate joyriders, the system offers a lot of functionality in one package. However, one of the PDR's features might get buyers in trouble with the law, and it has nothing to do with recording some illicit high-speed driving on a favorite back road. The problem hinges on the various state laws concerning a person's right to privacy.
According to a letter posted by Jalopnik, Chevy dealers are asking 2015 Corvette owners not to use the Valet Mode portion of the PDR because it records audio in the cabin, in addition to performance specs. That's a problem because privacy laws vary from state to state with some requiring just one side's consent to tape sound and others requiring all parties to agree. According Jalopnik, 15 states mandate everyone's permission beforehand, but it's not clear whether these numbers are up to date. (Actually, the report varies, saying 13 states in some places and 15 in a list.)
According to the letter, Chevy is already working on a software update for the near future to rectify the issue. It's possible that simply adding a warning to drivers and the ability to turn off the audio recording function in Valet Mode might solve the problem. Obviously, this doesn't preclude Corvette drivers from using the performance aspect of the PDR, and owners are free tape lap after lap at the track.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
