THIS IS A REALLY NICE ELCAMINO. THE MILAGE SHOWS 48,000 AND THE GUY WE BOUGHT IT FROM SAYS THAT IS CORRECT. WE DID A VEHICLE CHECK AND IT SHOWS IT WAS BOUGHT IN 87 AND TITLED BUT NEVER REGISTERED UNTIL 97 WHEN IT CHANGED OWNERS. IT WAS REGISTERED FROM 97 UNTIL 04 AND CHANGED HANDS AGAIN AND WAS NOT REGISTERED AGAIN UNTIL 2012 WHEN IT WAS SOLD AGAIN. THE GUY WE BOUGHT IT FROM DROVE IT A FEW MONTHS DURING 2012 AND WE BOUGHT IT. IT HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN SINCE. WHAT I'M GETTING AT IS THE MILAGE HAS A STRONG CHANCE OF BEING RIGHT. WHEN WE BOUGHT THE CAR IT HAD THAT JUNK 80S GM PAINT THAT ALL FELL OFF. THE CLEAR COAT WAS PEALING BAD. WE HAD IT REPAINTED (BASECOAT CLEAR COAT) AT A COST OF AROUNG $5,000. THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE IT SHOULD. THE AIR WAS WORKING WHEN WE PARKED IT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO BUT IT IS NOT BLOWING COLD NOW. IT MUST HAVE LOST THE FREON FROM SETTING. IT ALSO HAS A COUPLE OF CRACKS IN THE DASH THAT ARE COVERED WITH A DASHMAT. IT IS HARD TO FIND ONE THAT IS NOT CRACKED.( SEEMS TO BE THE NATURE OF THE BEAST) OTHER THAN THAT THE CAR SEEMS TO BE PERFECT. THIS CAR IS FOR SALE LOCAL SO IF YOU WANT IT THEN BID ON IT TO LOCK IT IN AND I'LL DROP IT LOCALLY. I WILL BE OUT OF TOWN UNTIL THE 27TH. Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.

The 2019 North American International Auto Show might have been a little more quiet than past years, but there were still some pretty major reveals, including the Toyota Supra, new Ford Explorer, Shelby GT500, Subaru WRX STI S209 and Kia Telluride. We also saw some lovely concepts like the Nissan IMs and Lexus LC Convertible. Senior Editor Alex Kierstein, Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Senior Green Editor John Beltz Snyder join me, Associate Editor Reese Counts — with Social Media Manager Michael Dylan Ferrara behind the camera Â— on a long walk through the show. The Jitterbugs somersaulted at the 1986 Chicago Auto Show for the Chevy Nova

Judging by the vintage videos that the Chicago Auto Show has been uploading, if you wanted to check out the latest vehicles and watch some dancers in the same place in the late '80s and early '90s, then the Windy City event was definitely the place to be. We've already seen the Footlockers pitching the Cavalier in '88 and a troupe of women singing about the Geo brand in '91. Apparently, the trend went back even further, though. Just take a look at this group called the Jitterbugs selling some badge-engineered products from Chevrolet at the 1986 show. Flanked by the Chevy Nova and Spectrum, these guys managed to do a few pretty impressive jumps and somersaults but mixed them with some rather uninspired spins, as well. Also, wait for 1:24 into the clip to see the least enthusiastic backup dancers that the world has ever known. The Jitterbugs are even further proof that Chevy's habit of mixing dancing and its vehicles goes back even further than the Volt.
