1985 Chevrolet Elcamino great condition ,
good paint ,has not been driven on salty roads the car is originally from Mississippi p/s p/b a/c tilt intermittent wipers & cruise , interior is good except dash pad has a couple of cracks due to age & sun exposure , car also has Pioneer am/fm/cd with amplifier & 4 subwoofers that are stored behind the seats under the bed hidden behind a carpeted curtain in the storage for spare & jack . The car has good tires on factory rally wheels . Engine runs great , I start the car and drive it during the spring , summer and fall ,but when there is snow on the streets I only start it and not drive it I've seen what salty roads can do to a body . This past December I tried to start the car and noticed fuel squirting on the ground , so it does need a fuel pump ,but it will start by pouring fuel in the carburetor . I was asking $6,000.00 , but due to the fuel pump and the need to sell quickly I have lowered the price to $4,750.00 negotiable or trade for a small car , truck or suv , no motorcycles . when it warms up enough for me to replace the pump , I will raise the price to $5,500.00 so if you want a very good deal get here before the ground warms , and if you want to drive it I have already bought the pump , if you replace it you can save yourself $750.00 , because I am disabled and I really don't want to . I have all the tools I have worked on cars & trucks all my life , but I only have the use of 1 arm .
HAPPY BIDDING--------THANX

Brief website update hints 2016 Chevy Volt will get 43 mpg, 106 MPGe
Sun, Jun 14 2015Customers in California can already order the 2016 Chevrolet Volt and be the first to own the new, range-extended EV in August. It appears there's now a possibility that buyers of the updated model might get slightly better economy than Chevy's initial announcement from the 2015 Detroit Auto Show in January, too. According to the eagle-eyed folks at GM-Volt.com, Chevy has been subtly tweaking the spec page for the 2016 Volt. It briefly showed the model getting 43 miles per gallon combined fuel economy and 106 mpge, rather than the originally released figures of 41 mpg and 102 mpge. Shortly afterward, the internal-combustion mileage returned to 41 mpg, but 106 mpge remained. A GM spokesperson told Hybrid Cars the changes happened by mistake. "We have not finalized numbers yet. We expect to announce in July." The economy isn't the only statistic to see an adjustment, though. The total range was reportedly briefly shown as 420 miles, and then returned to a 430-mile rating, according to Hybrid Cars. The Volt's output has also been slightly tweaked from the original figures. It's now displayed as 150 horsepower and 293 pound-feet of torque, versus the preliminary numbers of 149 hp and 294 lb-ft. These tiny changes likely have a negligible impact on real-world driving, but they suggest that Chevy's team is still working to squeeze as much as possible from the latest Volt's powertrain. If the final figures are coming in July, then the engineers still have just a few weeks to improve the ratings even more.
MotorWeek turns back the clock with the 1994 Mustang and Camaro
Thu, Jan 14 2016The Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro have battled it out for pony car supremacy for as long as most of us can remember, and the latest examples of both coupes continue to offer buyers impressive performance for their price. MotorWeek's Retro Review series remembers a classic battle in that fight in a video that pits the 1994 Mustang GT against the Camaro Z28 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. MotorWeek smokes the tires on both of these coupes at the speedway and shows off how they handle on track. Both vehicles come away with their own advantages in the challenge. The red Mustang packs Ford's 5.0-liter V8 with 215 horsepower and a five-speed manual gearbox. The MotorWeek crew praises the vehicle's stability at high speed and the ease of driving it around the track. The Camaro wins on power with a 275-hp 5.7-liter V8, and the show lauds the Chevy's six-speed manual. Check out the video to relive one entertaining skirmish in the ongoing pony car war. 2016 Chevy Volt sneak peek at CES
Mon, Jan 5 2015Here it is, folks – your first real glimpse at the 2016 Chevrolet Volt. The gasoline-electric sedan will officially debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week, but Chevy gave us a sneak peek of its redesigned Volt at a media event in Las Vegas late Sunday, as part of its CES festivities. There isn't a ton to see here, and sorry about the low quality video (and for us not standing front and center during the reveal). But we can clearly see the car's redesigned front fascia – something recently previewed at a fan event in Los Angeles. For another view, check out a high-res photo of the new Volt from our friends at The Verge, here. Chevy even tweeted a photo of the Volt's new nose on its official Volt Twitter account, which you can see below. The automaker didn't divulge any details about its new Volt, but we already know quite a bit. For starters, the Volt will use a new, 1.5-liter gasoline engine and won't require premium fuel. It'll have more EV range and a bigger battery, too. We'll have a whole mess of information when the 2016 Volt is fully revealed in Detroit in about one week's time. In the meantime, here are some more looks at the Volt, courtesy of the Twitterverse. We're so excited about #NextGenVolt we brought it out early at #CES2015!
