This is a frame off built, rust free 1981 El Camino with 2000 miles since completion that the owner built for a family member. It has a fresh 355 Chevy block, Turbo 350 trans with shift kit that locks 1st and 2nd gear and a 2800 9" converter shifted by a new Hurst 1/4 Stick automatic shifter. The front suspension is new with disc brakes and 2 1/2 inch dropped spindles. It has a 9" Ford rear with 4:11 positraction rear and air ride rear suspension that allows you to raise and lower the rear at your discretion. The interior features new Momo seats with the power driver's seat having 6 way settings to choose from. The custom dash contain Auto Meter gauges and it has " Lizard Skin" insulation and sound deadening for your comfort. The Stainless exhaust is 2 1/2 inches through the Stainless Magna Flow mufflers that exit through the center of the new rear bumper that was purchased to make sure . This beauty rides on 18.8 front and 18.9 BFG XDW tires mounted on Foose Wheels. The wheels have a scratch on one rim and a piece missing out of the second on the edge on the passenger side both of them barely noticeable but can be repaired. The windshield molding is also missing because it was originally completed with Black molding but the family member wanted chrome and then decided that they preferred another vehicle after the molding was removed and disposed of.The only metal work done to this vehicle is the filling in of the front and rear side marker lights. This is definitely a "turnkey" vehicle that shows and runs very well since the owner spared no expense in building this vehicle which you cannot build for less than 2-3 times the price. Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold

Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada

Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.

Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
