This was my very first car and means so much to me. I have taken VERY good care of this car since the day I got it. When I bought it the motor that was in it was built with a cam that was too big for the stock lifters, valves and pushrods. It had a new motor put in it built by Phoenix Engine Rebuilders in AZ. The motor has ran great, and I also got a new carburetor. Here are the current awesome things about this car that you would be getting... MSD distributor, coil, ignition and wires. Chrome alternator, air cleaner, thermostat housing, side mirrors, wheels and bumpers. Aluminum intake manifold. 600cfm Holley carburetor. K&N Air Filter. Flowmaster exhaust. Tonneau cover with carpeted trunk/bed. Custom made Chevy emblem spare tire compartment cover. Harley Davidson floor mats. Autometer tachometer, water temp and oil pressure gauge. High performance oil pump. 350 small block only a few years old but i unfortunately don't know the exact mileage due to an issue with the speedometer but there is no way it has over 15,000 miles on it. TH350 transmission with B&M shift kit. Chrome skull shifter and license plate frames. Rear air shocks for raising and lowering the rear body. BRAND NEW paint job done professionally. (There was a coating that was put on the metal when it was stripped down that is supposed to prevent future rust issues). Car cover. Black custom carpet if you want to continue the transition from tan to black on the interior. Rear view mirror is not stock, it has lighting built in for driver and passenger since there is no longer a light in the headliner. I still have the paperwork from the place I got the motor and for the MSD parts I have purchased. If you would like any additional information my email is karine.johnson11@gmail.com . I am not getting rid of the car because of mechanical issues. I have a family now and I have driven it a maximum of 5 times since February. I don't need the car as much as my family could potentially need the money. I will answer all questions honestly and to the best of my ability.

CA Chevy dealer allegedly adds $50K 'market value adjustment' to 2015 Z06
Fri, Jan 9 2015It seems to happen with every eagerly anticipated new car – dealerships, recognizing that crushing demand far outstrips the initial limited supply of a new model, inflate the price via a so-called "market value adjustment." We've seen it in the past with a number of new models, and now it's happening again with one of the Detroit 3's hottest vehicles. A dealership in Roseville, CA, outside of Sacramento, has allegedly attached a staggering $49,995 market value adjustment to a 2015 Corvette Z06. We say allegedly because, despite the evidence uncovered by BoostAddict, John L. Sullivan Chevy's online inventory listing doesn't display the price premium of the Z06 in question, a (normally) $93,965 model with the top-end 3LZ trim. It's unclear if either of the dealer's other Z06s, both 3LZs, one of which is in transit, will receive similar price adjustments. Now, legally, Sullivan Chevy isn't doing anything wrong here. Dealerships are under no obligation to observe a manufacturer's suggested retail price, a point General Motors' spokesperson Ryndee Carney pointed out to Autoblog via email. "For the Corvette Z06, Chevrolet has established a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price we feel is right for the market. Actual transaction prices, however, are the province of the dealer," Carney said, adding that a dealer zone manager will be discussing the price hike with the dealership. While we also reached out to the dealership over both the market value adjustment and the price of the Z06 as it appears on the company's website, we've yet to hear back as of this writing. Should they reply to our inquiries, we'll be sure to update you. Until then, we'd like to hear what you think about this case. Is Sullivan Chevy simply pricing the cars as high as it thinks the market can bear, or is this a cash grab for an hotly anticipated product? Have your say in Comments.

Auto sales in March and first quarter down nearly across the board
Wed, Apr 3 2019Nearly every major automaker reported weak U.S. sales for March and the first quarter of 2019, citing a rough start to the year, but said a robust economy and strong labor market should encourage consumers to buy more vehicles as 2019 rolls on. GM, which no longer releases monthly sales figures, saw first-quarter sales fall 7 percent, with declines across all brands. Sales of Silverado pickup trucks fell nearly 16 percent and the high-margin Chevy Suburban large SUV dropped 25 percent. Ford also no longer releases monthly sales numbers, but is due to release its first-quarter sales figures on Thursday. According to industry data, Ford's sales fell 2 percent in the quarter and 5 percent in March. Ford representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment. FCA reported a 7 percent fall in U.S. sales in March and a 3 percent drop for the first quarter. All of FCA's brands dropped in March, except for Ram, which saw a 15 percent increase in pickup truck sales. "The industry had a tough first quarter, but with spring finally starting to show its face and continued strong economic indicators ... we are confident that new vehicle sales demand will strengthen going forward," FCA's U.S. head of sales, Reid Bigland, said in a statement. Toyota reported a 3.5 percent fall in U.S. sales in March and 5 percent for the first quarter, hurt by declining demand for its Corolla sedans and Camry vehicles. "While some of our competitors are abandoning sedans, we remain optimistic about the future of the segment," Toyota said in a statement. Nissan posted a 5.3 percent drop in sales in March, and its first-quarter sales were down 11.6 percent. Honda and Hyundai bucked the trend. Honda's U.S. sales rose 4.3 percent in March and 2 percent in the quarter, while Hyundai's were up 1.7 percent and 2.1 percent, respectively. Passenger-car sales suffered throughout the January-March quarter compared with the same period in 2018 as Americans continued to abandon them in favor of larger, more comfortable pickup trucks and SUVs, which are far more profitable for automakers. The battle for market share in the particularly lucrative large-pickup truck market intensified in the quarter, as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' Ram brand outsold the U.S.' No. 1 automaker General Motors' Chevrolet-brand trucks. The two automakers have both launched redesigned pickup trucks.
