I started this project for my brother he decided he wanted to go another direction. So I need to get it out of the shop I have a clean title in my name registration is good till Dec. 30th after that I will have a non op on it. Vehicle is in good shape I did a couple small panel repairs. A donor car was purchase for the doors and fenders I also have the original doors and one of the original fenders. The doors, fenders, tail gate, and cowl hood have been media blasted. The body I stripped it by hand. everything except the hood and tail gate are still bare metal. I have most of the trim and parts for this car to put back together. Some of the trim is doubled from the donor car. I have no windshield I do have the back glass and door glass. This is and original SS car still has the 12 bolt rear end in it. I replaced alll the body bushings with new ones. I have no motor or trans for this car. This is a no reserve action so bid to win.

Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]

Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Stolen '57 Chevy Returned To Owner After 30 Years

Three decades after it was stolen, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been returned to a Northern California man - in better shape than when he originally owned it. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports Ian "Skip" Wilson was shocked to get a call from the California Highway Patrol informing him that his long-lost Chevy was taken off an Australia-bound cargo ship. The 65-year-old says the car has had a lot of work done on it since it disappeared from his Lake County home in 1984. It was returned with a monogrammed interior, 17-inch racing wheels, rack-and-pinion steering and a 350-horsepower V-8 engine. The retired mechanic says the two-door was in sorry shape when he bought it for $375 in 1975 with plans for fixing it up.
