Car is in excellent condition with ridiculously low miles.  Only add-on is Boria exhaust and K&N cold air.  EBCM unit was replaced at 15,000 miles.  This is a gorgeous ZO6 with every option.  It looks new and anyone that sees her verbalizes that observation.  Never raced, smoked in, or driven in the rain.  I have driven a lot of fast cars.  The 73 Mach One Mustang in one of the pictures is a Bonneville Salt Flats car.  Other than the hood scoop it is bone stock body powered by a carbureted small block.  With race gas it Dynos about 800 Hp.  225 mph on the Salt Flats!  I drive road course races in the open wheel Formula Ford. I sold a Factory Five Cobra with a small block Ford Racing motor (400 hp) about 7 months ago. I sold my  GT 500 Cobra 4 years ago and purchased the ZO6.  The vette is FAST.  I cannot believe how quick it is with the horsepower it has.  If you want a great sports car  at an incredible price don't let this one get away.

On Dec-08-13 at 17:32:59 PST, seller added the following information:

The last two red zo6 corvettes with torch red insert/black interiors sold for well over my reserve price.  There have been well over 1000 hits on this listing.  As I said, the  car is extraordinary; while I have had it there is less than an hour of "seat time" in the passenger seat.  It was my every third Sunday of the month driver.  The interior is like a well cared for one year old car.  So serious buyers know I am a serious seller, the reserve price is $21,000.  Please feel free to contact me through the Ebay email with any questions.  I will gladly, and promptly respond.

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC

Sun, 06 Oct 2013

American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.

Burt Reynolds' movie re-creations fetch $379,500 in Vegas

Wed, Oct 3 2018

The recent death of Hollywood legend and automotive enthusiast Burt Reynolds helped drive up the value of four of his former cars from the 1970s and '80s, which sold last weekend at Barrett-Jackson's Las Vegas auction for a combined $379,500. Reynolds, who died Sept. 6 at age 82, had offered three Pontiac Trans Ams — two of them re-creations of the cars he drove in "Smokey and the Bandit" and "Hooper" and the third from 1984 used to promote his United States Football League team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth was a 1978 Chevrolet R30 pickup truck, styled like the one featured in "Cannonball Run." The "Bandit" re-creation, a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that Reynolds ordered to be as "movie-correct" as possible but featuring a custom-built 200-4R automatic transmission, sold for $192,500. The car features a freshly built Pontiac 400 cubic-inch V8 mated to a four-speed automatic and featuring all-new Butler Performance parts and air-conditioning components. Reynolds reportedly said this was his favorite car from his films, and it even came with an authentic movie-correct CB radio and CB antenna. The red retro-rocket "Hooper" '78 Firebird, with a 403 cubic-inch V8 and a three-speed automatic, hammered for $88,000. By comparison, a gold 1978 Trans Am also offered at the Las Vegas auction but not connected to Reynolds fetched $27,500. The 1987 Chevy R30 pickup was a re-creation of the Indy Hauler pace truck seen jumping over a moving freight train in "Cannonball Run." It hammered for $49,500. The fourth car never appeared in any of Reynolds' films but is instead the only surviving example of two Trans Ams used to promote the Tampa Bay Bandits of the now-defunct USFL, having been driven out onto the field by Reynolds and his late friend and co-star, Jerry Reed, during opening day one season. It also sold for $49,500. At the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in 2016, Reynolds accompanied a 1977 Trans Am used to promote "Bandit" onto the auction block. That car sold for $550,000.
