No Reserve 1993 Chevy Corvette 40th Anniversary Edition *damaged* on 2040-cars

Clear title, adult driven Corvette has many great/new parts but was damaged hitting a pole at approx 30mph while avoiding a family of deer. The last three photos are of how vehicle looked last summer to illustrate that besides this accident it was in very good shape and well maintained. All body parts that weren't damaged will shine well. Motor has slightly less than 130k miles on it and ran strong with lots of power. Loud rumbling exhaust. Can't start it now as battery lost it's charge but can be recharged as it was new in summer of 2013. Hood doesn't open or I would've taken photos of engine. Tranny was rebuilt by Aamco just last month March 2014 and I have paperwork on it. Tires have less than 10k miles on them and were new last summer. Every option worked well including cold a/c, hot heat, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, power leather seats, power locks, power windows & mirrors, etc. Vette has removable hard top. Vehicle is being sold as-is. Got this car in spring of 2013 and below is a synopsis of what I did to the car since having it: All 4 tires new in summer of 2013 - Front P255/45ZR17, Rear P285/40ZR17 **Car is covered in my driveway. GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles
Fri, 04 Jan 2013As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR
Fri, 08 Feb 2013There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
