This car is gorgeous and has been excellently maintained by Chevrolet dealerships.
The previous owner never drove it in snow or rain. Has never been in an accident and has a near perfect exterior and interior.

When I bought it I wanted to find the cleanest Z06 I could find so I could put on an A&A supercharger on it. I wanted to begin my project with a well maintained car with great mileage. It was the perfect car.

I've owned the car for a year and have only put about 3,000 miles on it. The A&A supercharger kit is the best in the business. There is no better or more complete kit you could put on these cars and they look great!
The Autometer boost/wideband gauges are the best digital you can get. Plus, you will know you are driving safely.

You would not be disappointed in buying this car. No corners were cut. My price is more than fair.
I've priced the car at what it's worth W/OUT modifications.

Details:

*03 Z06: Black leather, Bose Sound system, Heads up Display, Active handling.

*66,900 miles

*6 Speed (obviously

*Professionally tuned at a very reputable speed shop. It puts down 619whp and 514 wtq. Runs a respectable 11.4 @ 124 (trapped as high as 127). Will run even faster now that it has a brand new Mcleod RXT clutch and flywheel.

*A&A polished Supercharger kit (polished). Included: Front mount Intercooler, 42lb Injectors, KB BAP etc.

*Autometer dual gauge pillar pod with Autometer Wideband and Boost gauge with built in shift light.

*BRAND NEW McLeod RXT clutch and Flywheel. 250 miles on it. Also has Tick bleeder.

*Corsa catback exhaust (with cats)

*XS Stainless Longtube headers w/ highflow catted X pipe. Sounds incredible. Not obnoxiously loud.

*Brand New Toyo Proxes TQ Street/Drag radial (excellent for an all around tire to handle the power)

The car KBB's at over 26k and NADA's about the same. (I know these are just guides, that's why I have mine priced below that not even counting the extras!!!)

Exterior has maybe a couple tiny paint chips. The Hvac backlight is too dim to see (still works as it should).

First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
