The car is extremely well equipped. I have owned several Corvettes and this is by far the most unbelievable car I have ever driven. I thought my C5 Z06 was a beast until I bought this car. As docile as any vehicle you've ever driven or as radical as anything you can imagine at the push of the pedal. As I look to the future I think there may be a 2015 Z06 in my future so thought the time to move this car is now. I just put new Goodyear OEM tires on about 3 weeks ago and had the 4 wheel alignment to protect those $2000 tires. The car has had a recent service and is ready to drive anywhere you want to go. Fly in and drive it home if you'd like, airport pickup at either Indianapolis, South Bend, or Ft. Wayne would be no problem with a little scheduling. I manage the finance department of the local Harley Davidson dealership and as an avid toy lover every couple years I buy a Vette to drive when it's too cold to ride. Not in snow and ice but cold weather yes. I love em as many people do. This car has been meticulously cared for and has a clean Carfax. Do your homework and you'll see my price is fair. I usually don't accept overseas bidders but I will on this car but if you win the auction you must understand my extent of shipping assistance is to help the shipper load the car in a truck. Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
