 2003 50th anniversary edition Supercharged Chevrolet C5 Z06 corvette

*THE GOOD*
61,450 miles! Vortech Supercharged, Clean Black Leather Interior, full exhaust package(American racing headers, JDC Catback performance exhaust system) Lowered on stock bolts. Cross drilled front rotors, Chevy custom chrome OEM 20"x12 rear rims and 18"x10 front rims, Boost gauges on drivers window pillar with the boost set at 8psi, satellite radio and skidplate/lifters(pushes up front bumper going over dips) The HUD does work perfectly fine as well. NOTE* Previous owner had stated an upgraded sport clutch was installed, I have never confirmed that.

*THE BAD*
ENGINE: Cylinder 5 has a cracked ring which means you need a new set of pistons (Car starts up, drives and pulls hard and fast. No ticking or knocking of any kind with the engine, Just a cracked ring)

INTERIOR: The rear defrost window cable has been disconnected from the window ( cable is still there just not connected to window) Satellite radio reciever has replaced the cigarette lighter and ashtray components.

EXTERIOR: There are a few pencil point nicks on the nose of the front bumper and side mirrors. Noticeable within a few inches and even then you need to know where they are at. You will find these on every car from debris getting kicked up by cars driving in front of you. There are two little nicks within the curvature of the passenger side, front yellow bumper reflector and on the left side of the rear license plate, the paint is kind of becoming warped under the far left brake light. Im assuming from the heat of the muffler, which you cannot see in the picture or videos I have on youtube.

Car was estimated to be pushing a little over 600whp by a very prestigious corvette shop only at 8psi.

Any more questions? I urge you to ask away.

Mysterious white powder discovered at GM Orion Assembly

Fri, Sep 2 2016

Workers at General Motors Orion Assembly Plant in Orion Township, MI uncovered a mysterious white powder in two different parts of the factory earlier this week, raising concerns about worker safety. "We can confirm that an unknown substance (white powder) was found on the floor outside of Gate 6 at Orion Assembly on Monday, August 29. On Tuesday, August 30, we had a second report of a bottle containing a similar substance found inside the plant," GM spokesperson Dayna Hart told The Oakland Press via email. GM stressed that incident didn't disrupt operations at the plant, and that the company was taking steps to ensure the safety of the sprawling factory's workers. That did include, an anonymous worker told The Oakland Press, closing off parts of the factory for two full days, as drug-sniffing dogs and crews in haz-mat suits descended on the area. "A sample of the substance has been sent to a laboratory for identification and results are expected later this week," Hart said. "All findings and actions have been shared with our employees." Orion Assembly currently builds the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, and will eventually be responsible for production of the new, all-electric Chevy Bolt early next year. Related Video:

Watch a 2015 Corvette Z06 run the quarter in 11.7 seconds

Sun, Dec 28 2014

We're not writing about this because it's an amazing run, we're writing about it because it appears to be the first run. Someone took a 2015 Corvette Z06 to Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas and blasted it down through the quarter mile. It's still wearing the dealer number in wax pen on the windshield and dealer plates, so this example is fresh from the mold. It's also a seven-speed manual. General Motors said the row-your-own Z06 can do the 'strip in 11.2 seconds, and they undoubtedly had a professional driver and more than one run to set that time. To have Just Some Guy show up at the raceway and do an 11.7 at 120.54 mph on his first run means we expect good things to come as Z06s get delivered to their owners. Check out the run in the video.
