I reserve the right to end the listing early for any reason, as it is also being listed on other resources. I have price shopped and know for a fact that this is more of a car for the same or less money than what I am seeing listed, aside from being hard to find.. Feel free to contact me directly at: 305-302-4617... I do not bite. Make sure you have your finances in order, the Wife's approval and are serious about it. I have nothing to hide, and the car is on point.

THERE ARE TALL PALM TREES IN THE BACKGROUND THAT WERE PROVIDING THE SHADOW EFFECT

2001 Corvette Convertible - Rare Yellow / Black / Black 6 speed ( Only 577 total built that were Corvette Museum delivery cars ) - w/ 58000 softly driven orig. miles and looks nowhere near that.  Owned sincie2006. AC Delco serviced by Corvette mechanic.  IT IS LOADED W/ ALL OPTIONS EXCEPT THE F45. Has Sport seats, Heads up display, Dual zone a/c, Polished chrome wheels, 12pk cd changer, Tilt / tele steering wheel / Memory pkg., Body side moldings and a cargo liner  It has been meticulously cared for, always garaged, never raced and unmodified. NO ACCIDENTS / NO BODY DAMAGE. Take it to Corvette shows, cruise nights, or just smile at it in the garage. It is sheer elegance and class.

The original Yellow paint has a marvelous new-like shine. The moldings, handles, convertible top, window glass, lettering, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in exceptional condition. The polished / chrome wheels are clean and the tires have excellent tread. It has never been run through an automatic car wash, and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still looks so fabulous. I have all of the manuals. The exterior is a solid 9.5+ / 10.

On the inside, the Black interior still looks, feels, and maintains a fresh crispness. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered, and the flooring has no wear. The door panels, dash, center console, and displays etc. are not marked up. All of the interior buttons / switches ( power windows, door locks, antenna, keyless entry, cruise, and sport seats ) work without issue. All of the dash cluster gauges / heads up display are lit and function. The Bose stereo system cass/ 12 pk. CD plays perfect. The undercarriage is dry, spotless, and rust free - never driven in bad weather. Inside, it is a 9.75+ / 10.

Mechanically, it starts, idles and drives smoothly as a "well-oiled" machine should. All of the servicing is up to date - super cold a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, The engine compartment is extra clean / dry, and it performs without hesitation. Of course, the LS1 - 345 hp engine has great pick-up and with the 6 speed you control the "show."

I always get compliments wherever I go with it, and people always say that the color combo is rich and elegant. The next owner will truly love owning this Vette

Junkyard Gem: 2003 Chevrolet Tracker

Wed, May 22 2024

When General Motors created the Geo brand to sell vehicles designed and — in some cases — built by Japanese partners, the first four models were introduced for the 1989 model year: the Metro (Suzuki Cultus), Prizm (Toyota Sprinter), Spectrum (Isuzu Gemini) and Tracker (Suzuki Sidekick). Geo got the axe in 1997, with the Metro, Prizm and Tracker becoming Chevrolets. Of those, the Tracker survived the longest, with U.S.-market sales continuing into 2004. Here's an example of a very late Tracker, found in a North Carolina car graveyard recently. The 1989-1997 first-generation Trackers were based on the Suzuki Sidekick, while the 1998-2004 Trackers had the Suzuki Vitaras (not to be confused with the much grander Grand Vitaras) as their siblings. Production of these trucks for the South American market (as the Chevrolet Vitara) continued in Ecuador all the way through 2014. The Tracker name has also gone onto some versions of the Chevrolet Trax around the world. This one is a base four-door hard top/rear-wheel-drive model, which had an MSRP of $17,330. That's about $29,789 in 2024 dollars. You'll find one in every car. You'll see. The engine is a Suzuki 2.0-liter straight-four rated at 127 horsepower and 134 pound-feet. A five-speed manual was base equipment, but very few American vehicle shoppers wanted three pedals by the middle 2000s. This truck has the Aisin four-speed automatic. We like it loud. It appears that someone associated with this truck graduated from Julius L. Chambers High School last year. In the United States, the Tracker was replaced by the Saturn Vue. If Tracker can handle (unspecified Middle Eastern country), it can survive the jungle back home. Siempre contigo.

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
