1995 Chevrolet Corvette Zr1 All Original, Late Build, Dunn Heads, Exceptional on 2040-cars
Victoria, Minnesota, United States
1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: This
is a low mileage and very collectible ZR1 Corvette. I purchased the car from the original owner with only 2300 miles and have enjoyed driving it on fair weather days. This car is unique as it was built late in the production run and as a result has all the final refinements including twin Dunn heads. It also came with the optional tinted top which has never been installed. The car is totally original (as it left the factory) except for the battery, oil filter, and air filter (the original assembly line air filter was removed at 3000 miles and comes with the car). All paper work has been kept with the
vehicle, including the factory window sticker. This car is exceptional and should not be confused with the early model year ZR1s which are not only far more common but also lack the refinement, power, and drivability of the late-production cars. I have been buying and selling parts and cars on ebay for 12 years and have 100% positive feedback. Just contact me if you have any questions. Final note: the winning bidder will also have the opportunity to purchase a set of NOS rear and new-takeoff front GSC Goodyear tires and a NOS drivers side upper seat cover (Red). Good Luck. On Apr-16-14 at 18:57:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had some questions so wanted to share this information: The car has all four original Goodyear GSC tires which still have decent tread. The original paint is in excellent condition without any dings and scratches. Everything works on the car - nothing is broken, missing or non-functional. Lastly, I encourage inspections as I believe the car will not disappoint. Please contact me if you would like to make arrangements to inspect the car. Thanks. |

Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out
Thu, 29 Apr 2010Chevrolet Camaro goes to South Korea - Click above for high-res image
General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.
