Hello, up for sale is my 1995 C4 Corvette. I am wanting to sell to move on to a more practical vehicle. I have owned this Corvette for roughly three or four years and bought it from an older gentleman in Denver Colorado with 39,000 miles. I used this car as a daily driver ( Mainly Highway ) on and off for years with very minimal problems. Some minor problems I encountered were the fuel pump, slave cylinder, and the clutch master cylinder. Fuel pump and Slave where replaced by me and the clutch master was replaced at a shop. I have a folder of many receipts which include oil changes, changes in parts, etc. I also have a folder with detailed miles and dates of which parts were changed. Some major components changed were the water pump, all weatherstripping, rear cargo area carpet, car was repainted in January of 2012, fuel pump, slave cylinder, alternator, and clutch master.

A few problems the car currently has is, an oil leak (I believe it is from the rear of the intake manifold, possibly rear main seal). The driver side seat is worn pretty bad and needs to be re-worked. A cigarette burn in the carpet from original purchase (Car does not smell like smoke) There is a crack in the paint on the hood from my alternator fan shelling into pieces which cracked the paint and cut a wire under the hood and the cruise control. Towards the front bumper there is a portion of the clear coat exposed. The rear fenders have rock chips do to the wheels sticking out more. The passenger side wheel has a gouge on it from a torque wrench at a tire shop. The CD player does not work, it keeps saying error. The radio still works. The antenna doesn't go down all the way occasionally. The car is tinted and has a little wear on the rear hatch window as well as the driver side window. I believe I can hear the T/O bearing when the clutch is disengaged. It has been like that when I bought it. The clutch has plenty of life left in it ! The car has never been abused. I was in the Marine Corps for five years and I owned it for three of those years. For about a year and a half, on and off, the car was driven by my grandparents because of my deployments.

A little about the car-

1995 Corvette LT1 producing 300hp and 340ft lbs of torque at the crank, roughly 270hp to the ground.

ZR-1 based FX3 ride control

J55 big brake kit

Very desirable ZF 6 speed transmission with smoooth shifting gears.

Bulletproof Dana 44 rear end with 3.73 gears which really puts you in your seat.

Stock exhaust with cats. ( I am sure the car can pass emissions )

17x9.5 aftermarket front wheels ( A Molds )
17x11 aftermarket rear wheels 30mm offset ( A Molds )

 Minimal to no curb rash.
Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements. The car has been maintained very well and has been my pride and joy. Please contact me with any questions you may have and once again like I said earlier, this car does have its minor issues but I can promise you that once you drive it you will under stand how it was taken care of and not beat on every time it hit the street. This car is already quick enough to kill you, but if you throw some LT headers and a full three inch exhaust, cam, and heads on this ole girl she will haul some serious ass. This car is waiting to have its power unleashed.

** I have many more pictures ! Let me know and I can send them to you.
I can arrange shipping with a buyer wether that is me bringing you the car ( For a Fee ) or have a company bring it to you. BUYERS EXPENSE.

2020 Chevy Corvette Stingray vs the world: How it compares on paper

Mon, Jul 22 2019

The 2020 Chevy Corvette Stingray in its base form offers an astonishing amount of performance for the money. In fact, so impressive is the car's spec sheet that the Corvette kind of exists in two different competitive sets: one of cars priced similarly, and another with cars of similar performance and reputation. To get a feel for how it handles each of these segments, we've compiled specifications for those two sets of players. You can find the first set below, which looks at cars of roughly the same price point. Following that is a bit of analysis, and then there's a chart of cars with similar performance and reputation. And that chart will also have some analysis. Though final pricing for the Corvette hasn't been announced yet, we know the Corvette will start at less than $60,000. And as far as pricing goes, its closest competitor is the Porsche 718 Cayman, which also starts at just under $60,000. Both are mid-engined and rear-drive, but the Corvette offers an extra 195 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. The Cayman does boast a curb weight of right around 3,000 pounds, so it weighs a few hundred pounds less than the Corvette, but it's likely not enough to make up for the power deficit. The Corvette's sub-3.0-second 0-60 time bears this out against the Cayman's best 4.5-second run. Impressively, though, the Cayman has more cargo space than the Corvette in a package that's nearly 10 inches shorter. The Cayman also still offers a manual option for those that prefer self-shifting. The 2020 Toyota Supra is on the cheap end of this sports car class, just crossing $50,000. It also boasts more power than the Cayman, though it's still down by 160 ponies and 105 pound-feet of torque to the C8. It's also about as roomy as the Corvette, despite being about the same size as the Cayman. Cargo space is a bit tighter. Its driving characteristics will likely differ, too as the Supra sits on a front-engine platform. It might even feel closer to a C7 Corvette in some ways. The other mid-engine entry in this price range is the 2019 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider. Its small 1.7-liter turbo inline-4 only makes 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, but it's also far and away the lightest of this group at 2,487 pounds. That's roughly 1,000 pounds lighter than the Corvette. It isn't as fast as the Corvette in a straight line, but that lightness surely pays dividends in cornering and braking.

Porsche, Jaguar continue dominance in 2015 JD Power APEAL study

Wed, Jul 22 2015

The top of JD Power's 2015 APEAL Study has not changed much in the last year. Porsche remains No. 1 with Jaguar nipping at its heels, although both premium brands saw their overall score fall compared to 2014. For those that need a refresher, the APEAL Study looks at how "gratifying" a vehicle is to own and drive, rating cars and brands on a 1,000-point scale. The industry average for 2015 has increased from 794 to 798, while the total number of automakers that finished above the curve increased from 16 to 20. While Porsche and Jaguar finished at the top, their scores dropped eight and seven points, respectively, to 874 and 855. The top "non-premium" brand was Mini, which scored an impressive 825, up from 795. If the BMW-owned British marque is still a bit too premium for your tastes, last year's non-premium winner, Hyundai, did climb five points and is this year's runner up. At the opposite end of the scale, Smart sits at the very bottom of the rankings, with a score of 683 (it didn't appear on the 2014 rankings). Fiat also dropped, from fourth worst in 2014 to second worst in 2015, despite the 500 being named most appealing city car. Subaru made an impressive climb, from third worst to seventh, falling just 10 points shy of the industry average and two points south of the non-premium average. In the individual vehicle segments, eight brands earned multiple awards, with Ford, Chevrolet, and Porsche earning three apiece. Surprise segment victories included the new Ford Expedition, which beat out Chevy's popular Suburban. The Infiniti QX80 bested the likes of the Cadillac Escalade and Range Rover for best large luxury SUV, and the Dodge Challenger beat its muscle car rivals from Ford and Chevy. Most of the victories, though, were quite predictable. The Mazda6 and CX-5 took wins for the midsize sedan and compact SUV categories respectively, while the Volkswagen Golf captured the compact car win. The Ford F-150 won the large pickup category, while the Porsche Cayman was named most appealing compact premium sporty car. GM cutting production at two plants

Thu, Feb 26 2015

General Motors is continuing to adjust to excess supply of some of its brands' models. To get production more in line with the vehicles' actual demand, the automotive giant is idling two of its factories in North America in the coming months. The Orion Assembly plant is going to be down from March 9-13, according to an anonymous plant worker and another insider speaking to Automotive News. The factory builds the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, but there are plenty of both models sitting on dealer lots, including 216 days worth of Sonics, according to AN. The factory already had two idle periods announced to reduce the excess. In addition, downtime is scheduled at GM's "Flex" line at the Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, plant from April 13-17. This affects supply of the Chevrolet Camaro, Impala, Buick Regal and Cadillac XTS. Among them, the automotive giant has the largest supply of Regals ready for dealers with 213 days worth of them, according to AN. The future for the whole Oshawa factory is cloudy in general, though. There are rumors that it could close entirely in the future because the Camaro is leaving and the Regal and XTS might not last much longer than 2017. The Canadian government and the labor union there intend to put up a fight, though.
