Car has 175k but don't let that sway you, I've had a lot of these and it runs, drives, looks better than many with 100k. Look how clean the engine is. Does not leak any oil, no oil in the coolant, no

coolant in the oil.  Engine starts right up idles and runs good, trans

(auto) shifts smoothly into all gears. No warning lights on. Oil was just changed. Top in good condition, rear window clear. Interior nice, a/c works awesome. Good tires. sure it ain't perfect,

weatherstripping old still keeps you dry, airpump a little noisy, but not bad it's just I've had a ton of these and can tell.

antennae is stuck in up position. Drives nice and solid for this gen/mileage.  Jump in and drive condition.

Paint looks great, has some chips here and there.  The front plate cover seems to be added later as it does not look like the rest of the car.

Offered at No reserve, as I have lost my mind.  How many other Corvette's are on here for no reserve starting at a penny instead of a laughable minimum?

I picked this up to recon and sell, So I do not have long term intimate knowledge of it, byt have driven it 20+ miles and have had a lot of C4 experience, and she is overall a solid car.

I am out of town until the 29th and I have a 24 hour shift at the Firehouse on the 30th so pick up will be after the 31st so I am giving 14 days for pick up/payment.

Pick up is responsibility of buyer

payment to be made in Cash.

I will pick buyer up from Dulles airport (IAD) for free.

Sold as is where is no warranties expressed or implied.

No deposit when paying within 14 days

I reserve the right to end auction early due to local sale, which is unlikely as I am out of town during auction.

Sinkhole Opens Up In National Corvette Museum, Swallows Eight Cars

Wed, Feb 12 2014

More cars are being moved inside the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. to avoid falling down the same sinkhole that swallowed eight classic sports cars early this morning, Autoblog reported. Museum officials said the hole was discovered when motion sensors activated around 5:45 a.m. The rescue mission can be viewed on the museum's live feed cameras, which weren't working after the sinkhole emerged. A 1993 ZR-1 Spyder and a 2009 ZR1 "Blue Devil," both on loan from General Motors, were among the cars that fell into the sinkhole. The museum owned the other affected Corvettes, which included a 1963 Corvette, a 1984 PPG Pace Car and the 1 millionth Corvette ever produced. The state of the cars at the bottom of the hole isn't known, but trial lawyer and sinkhole expert Ted Corless said the cars may be a total loss for the museum and GM. "Most states, including Kentucky, exclude damage caused by sinkhole activity," he said. "There will be, in all likelihood, a claim made, but a lot of policies would specifically exclude these kinds of damages." Corless has 15 years experience dealing with sinkholes. He said that typically neither the building, nor the cars themselves are protected under their insurance policies. "I would have to say, more likely then not, they're going to have an uninsured loss measured in the hundreds of thousands of dollars." The museum is closed Wednesday while a structural engineer assesses the damage. Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

2020 Chevy Trax and Buick Encore spied testing

Tue, Aug 14 2018

We just recently saw a little crossover SUV from General Motors being tested, and we weren't positive what brand it belonged to. We narrowed it down to Chevy or GMC, but we're feeling more confident that it's a GMC now, since both the next generation Chevy Trax and Buick Encore subcompact crossover SUVs have been spied testing together. Of the two, the Chevy has the more radically different sheet metal. It ditches the somewhat frumpy, lumpy shape of the current Trax for a body inspired by the bigger Chevy Blazer. The roofline has sharp corners, and the hood is wide and flat. The front fascia, though obscured, shows the most connection to the bigger crossover. It has the same split headlight configuration, and it looks as though the grille takes up a sizable section of the fascia. View 7 Photos The Buick Encore on the other hand looks evolutionary in design. The body still has plenty of curves, and the distinctive, sharply rising window sill are all hallmarks of the current Encore design. The headlights and grille are similar, too, though the grille appears to be slightly updated to fit in with the Enclave and Regal. It's understandable that Buick might want to play it safe with the new Encore, since the model is Buick's best seller, selling about 23,000 units in the last quarter, nearly twice that of the next best performer, the Enclave. Since this is the first time we've seen these little crossovers, we expect it will still be a year or two before we get to see them fully revealed. They will probably continue to use small-displacement turbocharged four-cylinder engines with either front- or all-wheel drive. Related Video:
