PRICED VERY FAIRLY AND TO SELL IF YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING. FEEL FREE TO DIAL MY NUMBER - 305-302-4617.

I reserve the right to end the listing early for any reason, as it is also being listed on other resources. Properly stored year round and only driven " to exercise." I can assist with shipping, as I have a contact who owns a transport company. I welcome all inquiries to buyers who - Have the Wifes approval already, actually have the funds, and truly know what they want. Been down this road, heard all of the stories, and no sense wasting valuable time.

1990 Corvette Coupe- 14000 miles -  6 speed w/ every option that was offered at the time -  Z51 performance handling pkg. , FX3 Suspension, Sport Seats, Bose stereo, Climate control a/c, and KC4 engine oil cooler.  NO ACCIDENTS, NO PAINT. These C4's are becoming more rare to find, and in years to come will appreciate in value, especially when they look like this. Can be used for whatever you desire. I ALSO HAVE AN UNUSED GLASS ROOF PANEL THAT I WILL SELL FOR AN ADDITONAL $500.00

The original Red Paint is damage free, is as new, and never really spent any time outside; garaged morning, noon, and night. The moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in exceptional condition. The saw blade wheels have no abuse and it still sits on the orig. Goodyear Gators that have great tread, slight dry- rot, nothing severe, and can drive on. Never run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still looks so fabulous. I have all of the books, literature, and dealer service manuals that go with her too. The exterior is a strong 9.8 / 10.

On the inside, the Black interior still looks, feels, and maintains the newness of 1990. As you can see in the pics, the seats have no wear and the floor mats have mats over the mats. The door panels, carpeting, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are original / impeccable. All of the interior buttons / switches ( power windows, door locks, cruise, and 6 way power seats w/ lumbar work without issue. The Bose stereo is becoming tempermental, and I would suggest a couple of new speakers. The undercarriage is dry, spotless, and rust free too. Inside, it is a 9.9 / 10.

Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as a "well-oiled" machine should. All of the servicing is up to date - a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, Still has the orig. plugs / wires. The engine compartment / undercarriage are extra clean / dry, and it performs without hesitation. Of course, the L98- 350 engine has great pick-up, and it shifts like a new car. With the  6 spd. / FX3 / Z51 pkg. you get both the ability to set your prefered ride, better handling, and a little more "pop" when you pull away.  The brakes have plenty of pad left, and all of the other mechanical functions perform without issue. Engine compartment still looks new, and has never been detailed.

I believe this car would place /  win in an original unrestored class.

AMC Trans Am Javelin SST, an ultra-rare underdog, is up for auction

Sat, Sep 9 2023

Among the rarest of the American muscle cars that went racing in the early Seventies — cars including the Camaro Z/28 and the Boss 302 Mustang — the 1970 AMC Trans Am Javelin SST may be the most hard to find, and among the most valuable. Only 100 units of this unique Javelin were produced, and one of them is up for auction at the Mecum event in Dallas on September 20. The Trans Am Javelin was fashioned in a patriotic livery of tricolor paint — red, white and blue — and arrived after the American Motors Corporation had decided in 1968 to compete in the Trans Am racing series against Ford and General Motors. The company's chief driver, Mark Donohue, would dominate the 1971 season, taking seven wins in his Javelin AMX and that yearÂ’s SCCA Trans-Am Championship. AMC took the trophy with 82 points, well ahead of Ford's 61, Chevrolet's 17 and Pontiac's paltry 7. The example listed for auction came equipped with a 390-cubic-inch V-8 engine with 325 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 420 pound-feet of torque, power steering and brakes, dual exhaust, BorgWarner four-speed manual transmission and Hurst competition shifter. Its “ram induction system” sealed a chamber around the air filter so that cool air from the functional hood scoop would be funneled into the intake. This JavÂ’s factory price was $3,995 — a mere $32,000 or so in today's money, though it was expensive by the standards of the time. The 100 Trans Ams were among 19,714 Javelin units built in 1970, so they started out rare, and today the surviving examples are highly collectible, if and when they come up for sale. Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty

Tue, 05 Mar 2013

We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.

GM marks 500 million vehicles

Tue, May 5 2015

General Motors is marking a major global milestone, as 500 million vehicles have rolled off its assembly lines since the company's founding in 1908. To mark the occasion, the automaker is continuing to invest in production and offering a one-time discount to some customers. GM North America boss Alan Batey used the festivities to announce the Fairfax Assembly factory in Kansas as one of the sites earmarked for the company's $5.4 billion in upcoming investments. The plant will get $174 million of that money for new equipment and technology to build the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Among the upgrades will be a shake-and-rattle booth that will simulate road conditions to find squeaks. To commemorate both the production milestone and the Fairfax plant, Batey and company CEO Mary Barra also gave away a 2016 Malibu to a wounded Iraqi war veteran, and the two execs announced that in the third week in May all GM employees can share a one-time customer appreciation discount with friends to help get them into the automaker's products. Barra also gave a speech to the workers there about some of the other milestone's in the company's history, which you can read below. Innovation on the Line: GM Manufacturing Milestones Many of General Motors' most important innovations have occurred behind the scenes, in its manufacturing facilities. Concepts such as changeover, flexible assembly, automation, computer simulation, machine vision and robotics were developed at GM. Over the decades these innovations have helped enable improvements in vehicle quality, efficiency and competitiveness. 1901: Ransom Olds' famous Curved Dash Oldsmobile, designed with simplicity, reliability and value in mind, was the first American car built in a factory designed specifically for automobiles and in standardized volume production. GM acquired Oldsmobile in 1908. 1908: Cadillac wins the Dewar Trophy, Europe's most prestigious award for precision and excellence in manufacturing, by demonstrating the auto industry's highest standards for precision and interchangeability of parts by disassembling three Cadillacs and mixing the parts randomly before reassembling and driving them before a contingent of judges. 1922: GM hires William Knudsen to lead Chevrolet's turnaround. Knudsen implements flexible mass production, which helps Chevrolet incorporate annual styling changes and take market share from Ford.
