I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR ABOUT 6 YEARS AND IT HAS WON MANY 1ST & 2ND. PLACE TROPHIES AT LOCAL SHOWS OVER THE YEARS.
THE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR CAN SHOW SOME WEAR WHICH IS NORMAL FOR THE CORVETTE LEATHER. THE DRIVER'S SIDE IS STARTING TO SHOW A LITTLE WEAR. THE FIBERGLASS SEE-THRU ROOF HAS A LITTLE WEAR ALSO, WHICH IS CALLED SPIDER WEBBING. THIS IS ALSO NORMAL TO THIS CAR....BUT IT IS NOTHING THAT HAS TO BE CHANGED, FOR AN EXTRA EXPENSE.
I JUST DID AN OIL CHANGE AND CHANGED THE GAS FILTER. OTHERWISE THERE IS NOTHING THIS CAR NEEDS.
THE TIRES STILL HAVE ABOUT 60% OF THE TREAD SO IT DOES NOT NEED NEW TIRES.

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR
Fri, 08 Feb 2013There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.

2014 Corvette Stingray meets Tesla Model S in drag strip showdown
Wed, Jan 29 2014They come from two different worlds and have little in common. The Tesla Model S P85 is the sportiest version of this paradigm-punching sedan from California, while the 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 is a performance-enhanced version of Michigan's recently-updated sports car stalwart. The West Coast car seats five adults and eats electrons like Popeye eats spinach, the Easterner has two passenger places and, surprisingly, sips gasoline like one might bourbon. An attribute they do happen to share is extreme quickness. This similarity is all the excuse Drag Times needed to set the vehicles beside each other at the Palm Beach International Raceway for a bit of mano-a-mano quarter-mile combat. Fortunately enough, cameras were rolling for each of two bouts down the blacktop and the results recorded for our edification and enlightenment. The winner? PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place.
