1988 CHEVY CORVETTE.

I have had many corvettes and this is the nicest one that i have ever owned.

It,s red with tan saddle interior

Engine and transmission are very good.. .Transmission is automatic and shifts smooth.. I feel you can drive this car anyplace you want to with out any major problems..

Tires are 50 TO 60 PERCENT.

Seats, carpets and the whole inside of the car are beautiful!  close to perfect..color is saddle.

All power things in and on the car work as they should..lights,power seats, power windows, power locks are all good!!

The car drives and handles beautiful...Its a head turner.

The car as a new exhaust system .

With all this said. and i will say it again..the car is beautiful! and it runs great!

I'm not a mechanic, But i want to be as honest as i can be..When i first got the car. The top came off while i was driving it..So i brought another one..They said it fit. but it really didn't. The holes did not line up correctly. So i still have the old one and the new one. Also i just brought on on e-bay. Its is suppost  to fit, But you never know. You may have to get another one.
The car was always garaged for me..and i keep it bolted in the rear bolts..So its never been an issue to me.

The dash board cluster seems to be acting up..It fads on and off. It started doing that last year. It does not effect the way the car runs..I have also seen the check engine light on at times. I have not taken the time to check it.The car run,s that good.

The air and heat worked last year as it should.. You might have to recharge the air this year. .I have not checked that yet..The battery was dead when i went out to check it.I'm having it charged and it will be ready when you pick up the car.

When i got the car. the nose was a little brighter then the rest of the car..Its was still a beautiful car .And a major head turner. It was cleaned from the doors back. And whatever was used caused a white haze over the paint. Its not faded. but the haze is on the paint. I'm sure if you have the car detailed and wheeled. The paint will come back in the rear.  The car is very pretty just the way it is now. But it can look much better. I'm selling the car very cheap. I refuse to start working on it and give it away with the price. Your getting a great deal for a little price.

.

I would not be selling it. but i'm losing my storage..I was going to give it to my son next year..

The title is a clear new jersey state title.. Not salvage are rebuilt..

If you live in new jersey and want to see the car before you buy it.I will be more then happy to let you inspect it..

I'm sure i'm being very stupid about this. But i'm starting the bid at $ 100.00 with no reserve.. THE HIGH BIDDER GET,S THE CAR..

TERM OF THE SALE ARE
THE CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS..BUT ITS A VERY NICE!! LOOKING AND RUNNING CAR..
I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS ARE PAY PAL FOR A PAYMENT. ONLY CASH ARE BANK CHECK MONEY ORDER.
THERE IS A 150.00 FEE ADDED TO THE HIGH BIDDERS SALE PRICE. IF YOU BID 1000.00 IT WILL COST YOU 1150.00..THE FEE IS TO COVER THE COST OF DOING BUSINESS. AND BELIEVE ME IT DOES NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO IT. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY THE FEE . I WILL UNDERSTAND. BUT PLEASE DO NOT BID ON MY SALE.
IF YOU JUST JOINED E-BAY AND YOUR NEW. PLEASE DON'T BID ON MY SALE. IF YOUR ONE OF THE EBAY AND CRAIGSLIST SCAMMERS. PLEASE DO NOT BID ON MY SALE. IT WONT WORK IN THE END. AND YOU WILL BE WASTING BOTH ARE TIMES.
THERE IS A 500.00 DEPOSIT DUE WHEN THE SALE END,S. BEING I DON'T TAKE CHARGE CARDS. YOU CAN OVER NIGHT THE PAYMENT TO ME. YOU CANT DEDUCT THE COST OF THE OVER NIGHT FROM THE DEPOSIT. UP TO $15.00
I DO NOT SHIP AND I CANT PROVIDE TEMP PLATES TO DRIVE AWAY WITH. THIS IS UP TO THE BUYER TO DO.
I WILL DO MY BEST TO GET THE CAR TO YOUR SHIPPER. THAT,S IF YOUR NOT PICKING UP IN PERSON.
THERE,S AN EXTRA SET OF KEYS AND THE TITLE THAT I WILL SENT TO YOU. TWO DAY EXPRESS MAIL. ALSO THAT,S IF YOU DON'T PICK UP THE CAR IN PERSON.

If i can answer question,s about the car for you. Please text me at 518-364-9920...And again i don't work on cars for a living..So the best way to check the car would to be to see it in person..

AND AGAIN I FEEL THE CAR RUNS GREAT! AND LOOKS GREAT!.IF YOUR REALLY IN THE MARKET FOR A GREAT ENTRY LEVEL CORVETTE. YOU WOULD BE A FOOL NOT TO BID ON THIS ONE.
.I USED TO SIT AT THE SHOWS WITH IT EVERY THUR NIGHT..AND IT WOULD ALWAYS TURN HEADS..  ITS A CHEAP CAR THAT HELD ITS OWN WITH ANY OF THE OTHERS THERE..Look at the other e-bay listing for corvettes. For the year and the condition of this car.  Mine is by far the best deal for the money.  .I looked and there,s nothing even close.
THANK YOU FOR LOOKING
Joseph

Which of these five plug-ins should win the 2017 Green Car of the Year?

Tue, Nov 8 2016

It's going to be a competitive race for the 2017 Green Car Of The Year. With a minivan in the running for the first time in ages, the five finalists announced by Green Car Journal today include five very different plug-in vehicles. As Ron Cogan, the editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, said in a statement, "electrification is now considered by most automakers an essential technology for current and future high-efficiency models." Let's check out the list: Toyota Prius Prime, the updated plug-in version of the world's best-selling hybrid. Chevy Bolt, GM's all-new entry into the long-range EV game. Chrysler Pacifica, a family hauler with the ability to go 30 miles on electric power. Kia Optima. The nomination is for the full line-up, but really the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models are the green stars here. BMW 330e iPerformance, one of the automaker's many new plug-in hybrids that bring battery power to models outside the i sub-brand. Green Car Journal will announce the winners at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17th, along with some, "other green transportation announcements," whatever that means. Last year, the winner was the 2016 Chevy Volt, the first model to snatch up two wins. Which do you think should win this year? Mark Reuss: GM can't afford product 'misses,' has 'thought about' CT6 V-Series

Thu, Apr 9 2015

Mark Reuss is a busy man. He oversees General Motors' global product portfolio, an all-encompassing task for a company that sold more than 9.9 million cars and trucks last year. When GM launches a well-received product, like the road-going rocket ship that is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – he gets credit. When the company stumbles with the slow-selling Chevy Malibu or grapples with fallout from the decade-old Saturn Ion and its flawed ignition switch, he gets blamed. GM owners, the press and sometimes the federal government, demand answers. Bob Lutz famously held the job before Reuss. So did Mary Barra, who's now GM's chief executive. There's a New GM, but the lineage is connected to a long history. When he's not thinking product, Reuss, an executive vice president, also runs the purchasing and supply chain for the company, which is still one of the largest industrial empires in the world. We caught up with Reuss on the floor of the New York Auto Show, where GM had just rolled out two crucial new products: the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Speaking with a small group of reporters, Reuss delved into a variety of subjects, including the new Malibu, Cadillac's future (he thinks the ATS-V is going to "flame the M3 and M4"), and other topics. On fixing the Malibu: "We can't miss. We can't have those kinds of misses [like the previous generation] on our cars and crossovers and trucks. We can't do that. If we do that, we give a reason for someone to go buy something else. It's that simple. "On a car like the Malibu we have a chance to really fix all of that, which we have, and then lead. Then you've got a real opportunity there. So that's what we've really been focused on here – to fix those things." He later added: "We need that car here to transform Chevrolet desperately because it's the heart of the market. And when you think of Chevrolet, people will come back and think about what we did with the [new] Malibu and the Cruze... It's hugely important to us." On Cadillac: "If we go out and try and out-German the Germans, it's probably not going to work. We've got an opportunity here generationally where there's a lot of people younger than me that have parents that drove BMWs and Mercedes, and I think there's an opportunity there for those people to drive something different than what their parents did, and I think that's always been an opportunity in the auto industry if you look at the history of it.

These are the five most ridiculous attacks on the Chevy Volt [w/videos]

Thu, Aug 7 2014

It's been a long, strange trip for the Chevy Volt from the time when the now-odd-looking concept version (above) was introduced at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show to today. And now, General Motors announced that the second-generation Chevy Volt will make an appearance at the 2015 Detroit show in January. This debut represents a victory for GM with what has easily become the most politicized car of the 21st Century. There are plenty of reasons for someone to criticize the Volt, but what's amazing is just how much anti-Volt energy has been spent not on things like the styling or how the EREV setup is not as efficient as a pure-EV powertrain. As we wait for more official information on the new Volt, we thought it would be fun to go back and look at some of the most wildly incorrect reporting and strangest attacks on the Volt from the archives. There is so much good stuff out there, it was hard to pare the list down, but these are our five favorites. Amazingly, they're not all clips from Fox News. Check 'em out below. 5. GM Is Going To Stop Making The Chevy Volt In The US Do you remember when GM was about to move Volt production to China? Well, yeah, this was reported back in early 2012 when a GM executive mentioned that the automaker would get benefits of building the Volt in the places where it sells them. This was spun into a story of GM taking Obama bailout money and then running to China. The Blaze was not happy: "Given the fact that Federal government helped itself to millions and millions of taxpayer dollars under the pretense that it was going to combat high unemployment by creating 'green jobs,' it would seem that moving research and development (and possibly manufacturing) overseas is slightly, well, counterproductive." Well, of course, that never happened. There's no way to say that GM will never build a version of the Volt in China, but the news we hear rumors of these days is that GM is going to move production of more Volt parts (specifically, the motors) to Michigan from overseas. 4. The Chevy Volt Is A Fire Trap There has never been a Volt that just spontaneously lit up while driving down the road. Yes, there were Volts that caught on fire. Yes, that's a scary thing. But there has never been a Volt that just spontaneously lit up while driving down the road. These were crashed test vehicles with destroyed batteries and plugged-in vehicles that were not the cause.
