Up for sale is a 1981 corvette. Overall this car is just a knockout. The car has a great sound to it, not to soft, not to loud, sounds great. This corvette is a pleasure to drive and very fun. This car is beautiful and is a head turner every where I go. It’s beautiful pearl blue paint is about a 9.5 it does have some chips and nicks that are miner touchups. I would rate this Corvette as a car that one can enjoy just driving and taking to local cruises and gatherings. The frame is in great shape no rust or rot issues. The headlights go up and down, all gauges work. The power windows work but go up slow. All lights and turn signals work. The wheels are original and are very nice and shiny, with brand new cooper cobra tires, two brand new front shocks, brand new carpet , seats have been custom redone and are in great shape, AM/FM radio CD player has been re painted in the last year, The automatic transmission has new filter, fluid and chrome pan, power steering, tilt telescopic steering wheel, cold A/C. power windows runs and drives great, probably needs a choke relay, does not leave any fluids on the driveway, the windshield and other glass has small scratches thru out, mirrored glass T-tops. This car has 4,528 miles on original rebuilt matching numbers 350 motor. But the car itself has 104,528 I had the car rebult when it hit all zero's. Lots of new parts to much to list.

Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards

Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.

GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
