1972 Corvette, numbers matching, in Excellent Condition with less then 58,000 Original Miles. I am the third owner of this car. I purchased it from a friend in Feb. 2006 with 55,363 miles. He purchased it from the original owner in March 1975 with approximately 19,000 miles. Since I purchased the car I have fixed anything that was not operating properly. I had the seats recovered, a new exhaust system, new tires and had the car painted (it is still the original color). When I had the car painted all of the rubber seals were replaced and I installed a factory LT-1 Hood. (The original hood will come with the car). I also installed the LT-1 air cleaner and valve covers. (The original air cleaner and valve covers also come with the car). In the interior, I replaced the factory am / fm radio with an aftermarket radio that looks like the factory but works better and has an aux. jack for I-Phone or I-Pod (The factory radio comes with the car) The door panels had the normal cracks on the arm rests but are in very good condition otherwise so I decided to install the arm rest covers from Ecklers. The car ever comes with the original T-Top bags and the T-Top tie down strap. It is the last year for the removable rear window. This car need nothing.
I must state however that this is a 40 year old car and is being sold as-is with no Warranty.

GM expected to debut two new crossovers at Detroit Auto Show
Thu, Dec 15 2016Next month, General Motors is expected to debut two new crossovers at the North American International Auto Show. That's according to Automotive News and The Wall Street Journal, which reports that the successors to the aging Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain will finally make their debut. The two crossovers have been on sale since 2009 and 2010 respectively and are due for updates as the competition has newer models on the market. Both crossovers play in growing market segments where sales success is crucial for the respective brands. GM, and the automotive industry as a whole, has been shifting its focus towards crossovers in the last few years. The Traverse and the Terrain are some of the oldest SUVs on the market and are in dire need of an update. GMC's Acadia, the former corporate clone to the Traverse (and Buick Acadia), switched to a new platform in 2016. And the Terrain's platform-mate, the Chevrolet Equinox, was revealed a few months ago. Both the new Chevy and GMC models are expected to go on sale late in 2017 as 2018 models. Look for a follow up to the Traverse's sister, the Buick Enclave, to make an appearance soon. Nissan Leaf sales get January jump as Chevy Volt trends downward
Mon, Feb 3 2014The cold January sales dip hit both the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt last month, but when compared 2014 to 2013's first-month-of-the-year sales totals, one of the two early plug-in vehicles obviously came out on top. The top Leaf market also shifted away from Atlanta for the first time in months. Last year, the Leaf sold just 650 units in January, but it managed to move 1,252 last month, a 92.6-percent increase over 2013 but a big drop from the 2,529 sold in December 2013. Paige Presley over at Nissan told AutoblogGreen that the Leaf has now broken sales records for 11 months straight and that, "we see unique seasonality with some December pull-ahead demand based on federal and state tax incentives." The number one Leaf market also shifted away from Atlanta for the first time in months, moving back to San Francisco. That change could be short-lived. "We had some inventory constraint issues early in the month in Atlanta with end-of-year demand depleting stock," Presley said. "By the time we resolved that, the weather hampered sales." There was not as much good news on the Chevrolet front. Last month, the Volt sold 918 units, down from 1,140 in January 2013 and 2,392 in December 2013. It also marks the first time the Volt has sold in the three-digit range since January 2012, when it sold 603 copies. That string of solid months means that the plug-in hybrid has a roughly 12,000-unit lead over the EV since the two cars brought plug-in vehicles back to the mass market all the way back in December 2010. GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.
