I believe this coupe began its life as a big block coupe.  It has the factory hood , high RPM tach and 80 lb oil press guage.  I restored the car and added a SRiii Chassis, c5 front suspension and C4 rear suspension, 4:10 gears. At 70 mph in 6th gear the tach is at 1600rpm.  I purchased a brand new LS2 crate motor and a used T56 trans.  The car has Hydra boost brakes, c4 ZO6 front calipers  and C4 rear brakes. Vintage air is installed .  Accessory drive is from Street and Performance.  Ididit column and a billet wheel.  The guages were done by Clocks by Roger.  Aftermarket C5 size ZR1 wheels and runflat tires . It has a custom stainless steel fuel tank with an internal pump.  I installed a oil cooler in the rack power steering system. The color is Victory red with a stock interior, with power windows.  I have many videos that narrate the build and can be found on youtube:  search--- Corvette Joe Alaska 1967.  I also uploaded a short video about the car.    The winning bidder must immediatley deposit $1000 in Paypal at the end of auction.  This sale is an As-is sale no warranty is implied !!!  Please ask your questions before you bid. I'm a full disclosure kind of person,  I want you,  the winning bidder,  to be happy and enjoy the car. This is a custom car with an aftermarket frame and suspension.  Please review SRiii motorsports webcite to become familiar with there frame.  I will gladly answer any questions to a serious potenial bidder. The buyer is responsible for all shipping.  I will help with shipping. The car under no circumstances , will not leave my possession,  until payment is recieved and cleared at my bank, might take 10 days, be patient.  Thanks, I know you understand:-)

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.

Valet mode captures joyride in red Corvette

Thu, Dec 18 2014

A man in California is among the first to catch a valet behaving badly in his 2015 Corvette using a controversial built-in recording feature. Dan Cowles told KTLA 5 when he bought his dream car, a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, he opted for the Performance Data Recorder. The Corvette PDR uses a high-definition camera mounted in the windshield header, a microphone in the cabin and a GPS receiver that record and track the sports car's movements and sounds. They work together to produce a video with telemetry overlay, so you can see acceleration rates, lap times and g-forces. The system can be customized to show extensive performance data, or simply video of your drive like a traditional dash cam. It also comes with Valet Mode, which locks the glove box, disables entertainment and records video. The audio recording feature ran afoul of several state's recording consent laws, but this video has no audio, indicating the fix may have been as easy as turning off the microphone. Cowles dropped off his hot red 'Vette with the valets at the Segerstrom Center for the Performing Arts in Costa Mesa, CA. When he got his car back he checked the PDR and discovered footage of the valet taking a short, but intense, joyride in the garage. In the video, the valet finds a straightaway in a tiered parking garage and pushes the car to 50 miles per hour in five seconds before quickly stopping. He then parks the car without incident. The valet then gets out of the car and takes one more admiring look at the front. The valet company has yet to commented on the video, according to Fox News, but valets everywhere should be on notice; that little red Corvette you have your eye on may have its eyes on you.
