clock, dual exhaust, tachometer, heater & defroster, seat belts windshield washers.
In addition, this car has been outfitted with a custom tan interior, door panels, soft top, and trunk liner with
embroidered corvette logos on the seat backs, carpet mats and trunk lid liner. Also fitted with Vintage air
conditioning and larger aluminum radiator. Car is equipped with an alternator and chrome valve covers.
This is an early 1962 model built in August of 1962.The 327 CI 340 HP engine with 4 barrel carburetor were rebuilt
during restoration. According to the engine number, this is the original that came with the car.
Number F0818RE 2100603.
The underside has been fully restored and painted black. The tires are Prime Well PS 850 size P205/75 R15 narrow
white walls. Wheel covers are original in excellent condition.

GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.

Wed, Mar 9 2016You hear a lot about how the Chevrolet Nova was a sales flop in Mexico because "No va" means "it doesn't go" in Spanish; in fact, the Nova sold pretty well south of the border, and in any case most Spanish-speakers know that "Nova" means "new" in Latin and Portuguese. However, General Motors doesn't deserve to be let off the hook for bad car names, because the Oldsmobile Achieva— no doubt inspired by the excruciating "coffee achievers" ads of the 1980s— scrapes the biggest fingernails down the screechiest chalkboard in the US-market car-name world. That is, unless you think Daihatsu's incomprehensible choice of Charade was worse. Meanwhile, Japanese car buyers could get machines with cool names like Mazda Bongo Friendee or Honda Life Dunk.
