   For sale is a very nice 1964 Chevrolet Corvair convertible. I believe it is a Monza, but not sure. The engine
starts and runs great and the auto trans shifts good also. I spent over 1100.00 rebuilding and tunning the dual carborators.
all the heater hoses have been replaced new except the defroster hose, which did not need to be replaced, but I think
I still have the new replacement hose.All the seals including the valve guide bushings, pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, have
been replaced to stop and leaks.
   The car has the rare factory air conditioning and the compressor seems to work ok, but it doesn't cool down, I think it needs
recharging, as the car has sit for years. The a/c control unit under the dash turns on and blows air. The fuel tank was cleaned
 as part of the carb work.  The interior uphostery is all new(seats, side panels carpet). The interior and exterior of the car has
been freshly painted and looks beautiful. The tires are almost new.
  Now, what does it need. It does need a few things. It needs a new top and top weather strip and also door and trunk and hood
weatherstripping. Those are the main things. There may be some minor things such as a screw here or there etc, but it is in
very good shape. I don't know about the radio, as it does not have a speaker. It is a great little car, but you are buying it "as is"
and I do not make any guarantees. I described it as will as I can, but I know very little about Corvairs and my evaluation may be
different from yours. There is no rust that I know of.
   I do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime for any reason as the car is for sale locally. The winning bidder must make
non-refundable 500.00 dollar deposit within 3 days of the end of the auction and the balance must be received within 7 days
of the end of the auction. If the full amount is not received within 7.days, the car will be relisted.  The car must be picked up
within 30 days of the end of the auction or a storage fee of 10.00 a day will be charged unless other arrangements are made.

Netflix to feature electric cars from GM and others in programming

LOS ANGELES — Netflix has unveiled a new star for some of its upcoming programming: electric vehicles from General Motors and other automakers. The streaming service announced an agreement on Thursday to feature vehicles including the Chevrolet Bolt, the electric GMC Hummer pickup and the Cadillac Lyriq in TV series and films "where relevant." The companies will highlight the partnership in a commercial featuring Will Ferrell that will air during the Feb. 12 Super Bowl. Netflix and GM called the agreement "part of a commitment to a more sustainable future." Financial terms were not disclosed. Netflix said it will help creators "better understand how EVs can complement and enhance their stories." Shows that will feature GM's electric vehicles include "Love is Blind," "Queer Eye" and "Unstable." GM puts e-commerce shopping in car dashboards

DETROIT — General Motors on Tuesday said it will equip newer cars with in-dash e-commerce technology, betting it can profit as drivers order food, find fuel or reserve hotel rooms by tapping icons on the dashboard screen, instead of using smartphones while driving. GM's Marketplace technology, developed with IBM, will be uploaded automatically to about 1.9 million model-year 2017 and later vehicles starting immediately, with about 4 million vehicles across the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac brands equipped with the capability in the United States by the end of 2018, GM said. GM will get an undisclosed amount of revenue from merchants featured on its in-dash Marketplace, Santiago Chamorro, GM vice president for global connected customer experience, said during a briefing for reporters. Customers will not be charged for using the service or the data transmitted to and from the car while making transactions, he said. "This platform is financed by the merchants," Chamorro said. GM will get paid for placing a merchant's application on its screens, and "there's some level of revenue sharing" based on each transaction, he said. It is too soon to say how much revenue GM could realize from the Marketplace system, he said. The GM Marketplace will compete for customer clicks and revenue with hand-held smartphones, which offer a far richer array of applications than the GM system will at the outset. Amazon.com is partnering with other automakers, including Ford, to offer in-car e-commerce capability through Amazon's Alexa personal assistant system. For example, GM will launch Marketplace with just Shell and Exxon Mobil icons in the fuel category. The only restaurant available for in-car table reservations at launch is the chain TGI Fridays, GM said. In addition, there will be apps for parking, and ordering ahead at coffee shops and restaurants such as Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts and Applebee's. "We will be adding more vendors," with some coming in the first quarter of 2018, Chamorro said. In addition, he said GM plans to expand integration into its vehicles of music, news and other information services. GM also hopes to use its in-car Marketplace connections to expand purchases of products and services, such as additional access to in-car wifi, from its own replacement parts business and dealer network. Of course, if you're like us, the big game wasn't so much about the battle between the east coast and west, so much as a fight between the world's automotive advertisers. We collected and collated all of last night's new ads and put them together for you to vote on. And yes, we're limiting this year's contest to last night's new features. That's why you aren't seeing Dodge's epic Wisdom among our collection of commercials, and it's a similar story with Chevrolet's Truck Guy Focus Group series, which highlights the new Colorado. You can still vote for your favorites. We won't be closing the voting on our Super Bowl page, so while the winners and losers are correct as of this writing, it's entirely possible that there could be some changes in the rankings as time goes on. So, without any further ado, here are the winning ads based on your voting. The Japanese brand ran four ads in total – two for Toyota and two for Lexus – and all of them have negative tallies as of this writing. Lexus' Make Some Noise and Lets Play and Toyota's One Bold Choice and My Bold Dad both had very weak showings among the commercials that aired, although they weren't alone. Neither Mazda nor Kia scored particularly well, despite featuring celebrity magic act Penn and Teller and former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, respectively. Chevrolet was the winner of the losers, as of our writing, recording the fewest downvotes for its audience-punking The Big Game ad.
