THE CAR DOES RUNS AND MOVE UNDER ITS OWN POWER, GOES INTO ALL GEARS, BUT IS COLD BLOODED WITH COOL OUTSIDE TEMPERATURES, NO SMOKING OR KNOCKING/TICKING NOISES. THE CHOKE CABLES ARE FROZEN AND I KEEP THE CAR IN MY HEATED GARAGE, NEVER MOVE IT UNLESS ITS 70 DEGREES OUT ANY HOW. THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR IS VERY ORIGINAL, ALL EXCEPT THE FLOOR CARPET, THAT WAS RECENTLY REPLACED WITH A FACTORY FIT PACKAGE. MY PERSONAL FEELINGS ARE THAT HAD I GOT THE SEATS RECOVERED IT WOULD KILL THE ORIGINAL FEEL THE CAR HAS. SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO GOT THAT ROUTE CLARKE'S CORVAIR HAS SEAT COVERS FOR $500, I SIMPLY DIDN'T WANT THEM. IT IS A FACTORY MONZA 900 CAR MEANING IT DOES HAVE THE 4 SPEED TRANS, TINTED GLASS AND AN UPGRADED INTERIOR. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS VERY CLEAN. OVERALL I FEEL THE PICTURES WILL DO THE TALKING FOR ME, IT DOES NEED SOME MINOR WORK BUT IS A GREAT CAR.I KNOW I WILL NEVER HAVE ONE THIS CLEAN AGAIN, THEY ARE GETTING HARD TO FIND AND I WONT GIVE THIS ONE AWAY. Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady gives Chevy Colorado to Malcolm Butler [w/poll]

Winning the Super Bowl, we'd imagine, is pretty sweet. Winning the MVP award at the Super Bowl, even more so – for many reasons, among them that you get a brand new Chevy Colorado, packed full of, you know... technology and stuff. Of course this year's Most Valuable Player was none other than Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quaterback who was crowned Super Bowl MVP for the third time and lead the Pats to win the Super Bowl for the fourth time. He makes tens of millions every season, and Mrs. Brady (a.k.a. Gisele Bundchen) probably makes an extraordinarily pretty penny herself. So what does one of the most successful and wealthy players in NFL history need with a new pickup truck? Not a whole lot, apparently: the Boston Business Journal reports that he gave the truck to Malcolm Butler, the rookie cornerback who intercepted Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson's pass on the Patriots' one-yard line with only twenty seconds to go and sealed the victory for New England. Which strikes us as a fitting gesture, even if Brady did keep the MVP trophy for himself. Chevrolet SS previewed by Holden VF Commodore SS V show car

It won't be long before we see the official, production-ready Chevrolet SS sedan (hint: it will be revealed this weekend). And to tide us over until all of the official details are released about the US-spec version, we have this: the Holden VF Commodore SS V show car, a performance-oriented brother to the Calais V that debuted earlier in the week.
What we really want to know about the SS V is what lies underhood, but General Motors' Australian arm is keeping that under wraps until the Chevy model breaks cover this weekend. Nevertheless, it's obvious that the SS V will be a serious performer, with all sorts of aggressive cues driving that home on the car's exterior. Take a look at those 20-inch billet aluminum wheels that hide big Brembo brake calipers up front, the sculpted hood and front fascia, the wide air intakes with LED running lights and the quad exhaust pipes out back. It's like the Pontiac G8 GXP never even left us.
Inside, there's a sporty-looking interior with aluminum accents that mix in with black leather and suede surfaces, all tied together in the middle with an eight-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. It looks great, and again, while we don't know anything regarding powertrain details, it makes us oh-so happy to see a manual shifter smack dab in the middle of the center console.

GM recalls Cadillac ATS and Chevy Impala for separate issues

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration added two recalls from General Motors in the government organization's daily update of safety campaigns. Both were for failing to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards but for completely separate reasons. The larger recall covers 58,698 units of the 2013-2015 Cadillac ATS, but it doesn't really carry huge safety concerns. In vehicles produced between April 25, 2012, and February 9, 2015, the controls for the tilt and slide of the moonroof are not recessed enough, as required by federal law. According to NHTSA, it's possible that someone could inadvertently activate the auto-close for the roof panel, which the agency claims increases "the risk of personal injury." Dealers will install a new trim plate that will add the necessary clearance. The other campaign covers 1,177 examples of the 2014 Chevrolet Impala from between November 15, 2012, and May 27, 2014. However, this is actually a repeat of a previous recall on the Chevy and the Cadillac XTS from 2014. The affected Impalas here "were remedied incorrectly" under the earlier campaign, according to NHTSA. On these sedans, it's possible the electronic parking brake might not fully disengage and still remain in some contact with the rotor, which is in violation of federal rules. The fault can cause excessive heat from the brakes that could potentially lead to a fire, according to NHTSA. To fix the problem, dealers will reprogram the electronic parking brake control module.
