!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO RESERVE AUCTION HIGH BIDDER WINS AND DRIVES THIS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have for sale a 2004 Chevy Colorado Z71 Crew Cab 4WD True Crew Cab 4 Full Doors Pickup with all options available in 2004 except rear sliding glass. Including PL PW PB PS ABS CRUISE TILT AM FM CD 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND PUSH BUTTON ON THE FLY 4WD! 3.5L 5 CYLINDER ENGINE.
This truck runs and drives great. It is running in all the pics as well!!! Transmission shifts out smooth, 4wd works perfect, absolutely no leaks no smoking and no fluid consumption anywhere!! Owned by a non smoker. I have always changed oil and filter every 3000 regardless of need and replaced with high mileage synthetic oil and filters. Every oil change it also received a bottle of Sea foam in tank to keep all components clean and working perfectly. There are no lights on in cab, no smoking, no leaks, does not use any fluids period as it is running in all pics!! The interior is in near perfect condition except for 1 seam is coming apart on front drivers seat so I replaced with new full set of seat covers. No cracks in dash, no cracks in windows, no fading, nothing missing etc. This truck has Magnaflow exhaust installed and smoked after market tail lights. Head lights and tail lights etc. work as they should. all interior lights working also. Really just a nice truck for anyone looking for a Colorado pick up truck. there are a couple minor items I will point out so there is no surprises at all. The exterior is missing 1 piece of the plastic trim from the rear bumper, 1 piece of plastic from the drivers side chrome step, the front bumper has 1 small ding in the passenger side and the front passenger side wheel flare has a couple cracks of which should all be able to be seen in photos. Also there is 1 small piece of trim missing from front grill area also seen in pics. 1 small piece missing from the back passenger side wheel center cover. That is basically it everything else is in great shape and these are not really all that bad. Looks like scratches in pics but there is not it is just dust from county roads. Interior is in nearly perfect condition as well. Books for nearly 10K in perfect condition! I would say this one is at least 4 out of 5 stars and could easily be 5 out of 5 with a few exterior items replaced as noted in the description above. I have many more pics if U want to see something specific just let me know.

Here is a list of everything I have replaced in the last 2 years:

transmission was replaced by local dealer Bailey Chevrolet and has only 60K on it approximately.
new master cylinder and all new brakes and fluids
new abs sensor
new wheel hubs
new tie rods
new 6ply AT tires with only 5000 on them
all new speakers
new seat covers complete set
new decals
newer tailgate from an 08 model. and repainted to match.
new front bumper trim
new Billet grill
new bug guard
new rain guards for all 4 windows
new trailer brake controller
new AC-DELCO IRIDIUM SPARK PLUGS
new k and n air filter never needs replacing
new window motor master switch
new map and mass air flow sensors

great truck for the new owner.
Mileage will go up some as it is my daily driver!

On Jan-27-14 at 09:06:39 PST, seller added the following information:

Forgot too mention in new parts and items that the paint is all new also. 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint and 2 coats of clear coat protectant. Was not done professionally but still looks good. there are runs in paint though from spraying too heavy. Only painted because of light scratches and small tiny dings that were filled and pulled out.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.

GM Design shows what could have been and what might be

Thu, May 27 2021

We periodically like to check in with GM Design's Instagram account to see what they're cooking up. Even better is when we catch a glimpse of an alternate history of what legendary designers from The General's past were thinking, though those ideas may not have made it into production. This week, for example, the account posted some illustrations from George Camp, whose career at GM spanned nearly four decades, from 1963 to 2001. One of the renderings is of what appears to be a 1971-72 Pontiac GTO Judge, but with two headlights instead of the production unit's quad beams. The rear departs from the canonical version most dramatically, with a massive integrated wing. Other bits that didn't make the production cut include large side vents, a gill-like side marker and rectangular intakes below the headlights that wouldn't be out of place on a modern design today. Amazingly, from what we can make out of the date, it appears that the drawing was done sometime in 1965, which makes it quite prescient.           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by GM Design (@generalmotorsdesign) There's also a very aerodynamic interpretation of a Corvette ZR-1. To our eyes it splits the difference between the 1986 Corvette Indy concept and a fourth-generation F-body Pontiac Firebird, so perhaps parts of Camp's work on this sketch did make it into physical form. There's also a radical sports car concept from May 1970 that resembles the Mazda RX-500 concept from the same year, a Syd Mead-looking Cadillac coupe, and an Oldsmobile with a cool take on the company's trademark waterfall grille and elements of the Colonnade Cutlass at the rear. Other recent posts include a FJ Cruiser-like off-road EV, a sleek coupe with the Chevy corporate grille, and a rendering of a Silverado-esque pickup that looks far better than the current production version.           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by GM Design (@generalmotorsdesign) It's pretty easy to lose hours in the account, but it's always fascinating to see GM's visions of what could have been and what might be.
