This auction is for a 1995 Chevy 3500HD 12' Stake Bed truck with a 7.4L V8 [454] and an automatic transmission. It has power steering and power brakes.. This truck does not have A/C.. It was a local new truck trade and is exceptionally clean, both the cab and the frame.. I have included pics of both rear cab mounts.. This truck starts right up with no issues and drives great on the highway.. It has a few extras such as running boards, west coast mirrors, vent visors and working cab lights [see pics]..It has a wooden floor on the bed with one broken board.. The bed has a couple of rusty spots that don't even show up in the pics.. Overall, this truck is in great shape. The headliner, seat, dash and door panels are very good.. It appears to have the original paint on the cab and is rust free. I included pics of the door corners and rocker panels.. It also has a very sturdy "Reese" type hitch that also serves as a step [see pics].. The tires on this truck are at about 50% in my opinion.. Please examine the pics with the zoom feature and ask any questions BEFORE you bid.. Thanks for your interest and "Good Luck" bidding.

We reserve the right to end this auction at any time since the truck is for sale on our lot..We have been a Ky dealer for over 20 years and we sell all vehicles "AS IS".. A 60 day temp tag is available if you want to drive this truck home.. We require a $500 non refundable deposit, preferably through Paypal, at the end of the auction and full payment within a week.. Please call Jim at 606-923-2753 or Pat at 606-547-7050 if you want to "overnight" the full amount or if you prefer to do a wire transfer.. We can store the truck at no cost once it's paid for..  We have NO DOC fees and out of state buyers pay no Ky tax.. Check our feedbacks and bid with confidence.. You won't be disappointed with this one.. Thanks

2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut

Sat, 16 Feb 2013

Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.

Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. Amelia Island 2013: Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray from concepts to split windows

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

While this year marks 60 years of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance focused on one of the coupe's most sought after models, the 1963 Sting Ray. General Motors design boss Ed Welburn was on hand to show off the all-new C7 Corvette, but even the hard-edged styling of the 2014 Stingray couldn't take away from the beautiful 1963 models sitting out on the field.
In addition to the original Sting Ray and the 1959 Sting Ray Concept, some of the other classic 'Vettes included "Big Tank" racecars, an interesting cutaway coupe, a right-hand-drive Z06 and the attention-grabbing 1963 Corvette Rondine by Pininfarina. Another impressive Corvette was the 1964 Corvette XP-819 rear-engine prototype. Owner Mike Yager had the car finished as a driving chassis for this year's show, but promises the car will be back to its original glory in time for next year's event.
