For sale is a very nice 1974 C10 short bed factory big block truck.  I believe this is a Cheyenne Super, however I'm not 100% sure on the model.  The truck has a 454 BBC that runs great, sounds real nice with a mild cam, however I do not know the mileage or anything about the build of this engine as I did not build it.  It runs great and has good power.  Its backed by a TH400 trans with a mild stall converter that shifts nicely.  This is an a/c truck however the compressor was removed at some point, has new heater core.

New flowmaster exhaust.

Dual tanks but the passenger side not working.

The truck is very clean, straight with nice paint that pops in the sun.  There are some small chips that have been touched up in areas and some small bubbles in spots that are hard to see and appear to be in the paint itself and under the clear coat.  The bed is rino lined black and is very nice!

The emblems on the truck have been shaved, the chrome and stainless are nice!

Interior is very nice with no cracks in the dash, carpet is nice as is the seat and gauge cluster.  The speedo does not always work so mileage is unknown.  Has new pro com autometer gauges installed.  The dash has not been hacked nor are there speaker holes in the doors.

Truck has been lowered slightly the right way and rides like a dream.  Brakes are excellent and stops perfect!  Tires are new with excellent tread on truck rally wheels.

This truck runs and drives excellent!  I would drive it anywhere at anytime!

Has a clear title in my name.

This truck is sold as is where is with no warranty of any kind.  Deposit of $1000.00 required immediately at the end of auction.  I will assist in anyway I can with shipping which is at the buyers expense.

If you have less then 10 feedback please contact me prior to bidding.  Thank you

MotorWeek's 80's GM muscle coupe roundup includes Regal GN and Monte Carlo SS

Thu, Jan 29 2015

Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). MotorWeek, in its hugely entertaining retro flashbacks, looks back on these three long-lost GM performance icons, and it's just as good as you might expect. Next-gen GMC Sierra spied with diesel power

Tue, Sep 5 2017

The next generation of GM trucks is arriving soon, and we're expecting a huge leap forward over the current lineup. The Chevy Silverado and the GMC SIerra sell extremely well, but haven't done much to move the segment forward in a long time. The Ford F-150 has an all-aluminum body and turbocharged V6 power. The Ram 1500 gained a diesel and coil spring suspension. These spy shots show that diesel may be in the cards for GM. Some quick shots and copious use of flash show what is most likely a tank for diesel exhaust fluid and a diesel particulate filter, both necessary equipment for any modern diesel. It's unclear what form factor that engine will come in, though GM has a number of engines to choose from, including the 2.8-liter inline four that's found in the Colorado and Canyon, though that may be a little light duty for the Silverado and Sierra. Other rumors surrounding the trucks suggest a move to an aluminum cab while retaining a steel bed. That seems like a reasonable move for GM, even if the company was attempting to shame Ford for its move to aluminum a few years ago. Look for more news as early as the Detroit Auto Show in January. Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
