Up for bids is a CLEAN GM Factory 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne Car Hauler/Ramp Truck. This truck is all original. Engine is a stock 454ci Chevy big block V8 w/ 58,524miles. Truck is a dually rear end with RWD. Exterior is very clean with minor surface scratches and blemishes, practically rust free. The cab corners are very clean. Only the passenger door has a rust bubble the size of a dime on the bottom. Underneath nothing major but just typical surface rust, same with under the hood. On the ramp passenger side a crease and surface scratches in front of the wheel. Stainless dual exhaust. Aftermarket 2inch Cowl Induction Hood. Ramp part of the truck has extra storage behind the cab and a winch. The ramps pull out with ease. Interior is all original with original dash, seats, and interior door panels. Vinyl headliner. Factory gauge cluster with a RARE factory Tachometer. Aftermarket radio and aftermarket tow brake installed (previous owner). Passenger door does not open (needs to be pulled apart, latch mechanism). This truck was a Tennessee truck. Truck starts right up and drives nicely. When purchased truck was driven from TN to MA. 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
Will Chevy Bolt get Opel badge in Europe?
Sat, Mar 7 2015General Motors' European plug-in vehicle name may go from A to B. That's because the Chevrolet Bolt could be sold under GM's Opel brand across the Pond, Automotive News Europe says, citing people familiar with the process that it declined to identify. The Ampera, the European version of the Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle, is being phased out due to poor sales. While the Ampera won the European Car of the Year in 2012, its sales have trended well below expectations. That the Bolt would be sold as an Opel hints to us that GM expects to distribute the electric vehicle in far smaller numbers than in the US. The Bolt, which was introduced in January in its concept version at the North American Auto Show in Detroit, will have a single-charge range of about 200 miles. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGeen on Friday afternoon. The car will also have a price tag in the US of about $30,000, factoring in federal-government tax incentives. That's if those tax incentives are still around in 2017, when the Bolt is expected to debut stateside.
