1972 Chevrolet Malibu/chevelle Sport Coupe Maybe Original 307 on 2040-cars
Adkins, Texas, United States
Im selling my 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle. It has a running 327 chevy engine and is in pretty good condition. It still needs to be finished but a good start.Has all glass and has all new brake system front disc brakes and rear drums...Has several new parts and have all the receipts.Does not smoke and runs smooth. I do have the carb off and alternator because i was going to get new ones but will try to get it placed back on before it leaves my home.It has clear texas title and only rust it had on the car is in the bottom of trunk other then that car pretty solid. It has a 350 trans. in it. All interior is there but needs to be redone.Head lights and tail lights work and chrome on bumpers are smooth and good enough to just polish.Gas tank has been flushed and cleaned and has new hoses.I have driven it a few miles before starting to work on body and drove well. Its an awesome good solid project and i will post the Vin tommorrow so you can research exactly what model it is.Good luck

On Dec-12-13 at 14:13:03 PST, seller added the following information: From the VIN it looks like it may just be a 307 and not what i was thinking a 327..I never checked the numbers so it may be the original engine. How ever it is a Sport Coupe so from that i think that would be a plus. I rushed putting it on ebay and left out some very important points. The car has no major body damage and hood has dents but fenders, doors, trunk lid ,roof just had ting dings nothing smashed dented all crazy...the rear bottom quarter panles behind wheels were worked a lil bit and mostly just on passenger side...Its has all the outer componnets like the tail lamps, parking singles lens, side view mirrors and also have the air condition compressor...rear window has the moldings except for one piece and think it was the bottom center piece..It needs a an alternator to drive it far but i only drove it a few miles and back just to see how the engine a trans ran and both did well...since sitting trans has smal leak but nothing major..it has to be just a gasket ..It will not take much to make road worthy at all so its a very good start and from the VIN its worth it.. well good look luck
On Dec-12-13 at 14:17:34 PST, seller added the following information: VIN# 1D37F2R574388 Car is as shown in first two photos. So the car is together.Only major rust was in the trunk floor but not entire floor but will need some of it to be replaced. They sell a two piece trunk floor set for like $100 other then that it just had suface rust...The floor of intereior car is solid no rust. |

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial
Sat, 16 Mar 2013
The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Is this '47 Chevrolet a rat rod or a sports car?
Sun, May 22 2016These days there are plenty of vehicles that blur the conventional automotive class structures. For instance, was the Honda Crosstour a wagon or an SUV? And what exactly was the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet? Regardless, those line-blurring cars (or trucks) are out there, and though this one didn't roll off a production line, it's still quite the automotive head-scratcher. Hailing from Missouri, this epic creation is one part mad science experiment, one part 1947 Chevrolet pickup, and one part '95 Mercury Cougar. Add it all up and you get an awesome truck-sports-car hybrid, complete with an outrageous wing and a V8 to boot. And interestingly enough, it's up for sale . RELATED: Check out this Wild-Styled Lamborghini Rat Rod So how does it all come together? According to the listing, the Chevrolet truck cab (which had previously been chopped) was sanded down to bare metal and given a thorough shellacking of clear coat. It was then melded together with the front end of a 1995 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, and set low to the ground on Bilstein suspension drop spindles. Stance achieved. But instead of fielding an engine from either of those pickups, it pulls its heart from a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV—a big 5.3-liter V8 heart, that is. It comes backed-up to a GM Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Towards the rear however is where things get really interesting. A Copper Pearl coated tube frame chassis both attaches the rear independent suspension (a la Mercury Cougar) to the racy spoiler, as well as secures the rat rod's rear-mounted radiator, fan, and fuel tank. I'm not quite sure why, but it just looks glorious. RELATED: Reports Say Mid-Engine Corvette Will Arrive in 2018 Inside the vintage cab, the Chevrolet furthers its racing proclivities (it's said to have won burnout and auto-cross events) with a pair of harnessed racing seats, a drift brake, a detachable steering wheel, and a tachometer with oil and temperature gauges, but oddly no speedometer. The shifter is a crescent wrench. And its shift boot? That's a Crown Royal Purple bag. All in all, this grin-worthy Frankenstein creation tallies up bits and pieces from four different vehicles (five if you include the Camaro wheels), which make it truly a mash-up of epic proportions.
