Car had a 2 year restoration finished in 2011, covered and garaged since. Period correct 454, and 400 transmission with floor shifter and console. All new paint, Vinyl top, interior from head liner to carpet. New dash and gauges. New wiring, Cowl induction components, Bumpers, Grille, Weather stripping, OEM rubber mats, Exhaust and so on. All A/C components are new, and air blows cold. Car is Loaded with Factory options: Power Steering, Disc Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Bucket Seats, A/C. Only thing she needs is a radio, that was left out during the restoration, but the wiring is there as well as new Speakers in the dash and rear panel. Car looks and runs great.
I don't know a lot about the cars history. My dad and I purchased the car at a classic car auction. I do not know if the build sheet is there. I tried to research the trim tag, and I can tell it is a true SS, and it was born Green, not black. I have bought and sold many classics in my time, I have never seen a perfect car. this car is not perfect, but it is close. Nice car at a great price. If interested, I would suggest as always, that you came see it in person. Please don't be ridiculous in your offers as I do not have to sell this car. I did not steal it, and you will not steal it either. I am selling the car because I recently had a son and the car is just taking up garage space. I never find time to enjoy it, and it is too great of car to sit under a cover all of the time. Somebody needs to get out and enjoy this awesome American muscle car. I would be open to some trades, let me know what you got. No I will not take your check from out of the country and ship you the car, nor will I take your check for way over the amount and send you the difference... I was born at night but it was not last night. That being said, I am happy to answer any questions, or send more pics, just email me. |

Sunday Drive: Trucks and SUVs of all shapes and sizes
Sun, Nov 5 2017The American automotive marketplace is dominated by trucks and SUVs, and so was the last week of coverage on Autoblog. By far, the most popular story of the week was our First Drive of the 2018 Lincoln Navigator. It may look like an old-school lumberer, but in reality Lincoln's flagship is a thoroughly modern, turbocharged-V6-powered, three-row, luxury people mover. The Jeep Wrangler is the world's most recognizable vehicle. So it's no surprise that the next version looks a whole heck of a lot like the last one, and the one before. It's all in the details, which is why we were so excited when Jeep decided to unleash a trio of images showing both two- and four-door Wranglers for us to dissect ahead of the SUV's official debut at the L.A. Auto Show later this year. Past that, spy photos of the next Chevy Silverado and Ram 1500 were predictably popular. See both of those below, and the cap it all off, check out the entire week's worth of SEMA coverage – including the bonkers Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 – in our mega image gallery at the bottom of this post. Enjoy! As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2018 Lincoln Navigator First Drive | From black sheep to flagship 2018 Jeep Wrangler revealed: First photos released before L.A. Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
