1970 Chevelle SS LS5 454 4spd trans.  This is truly one of a kind.  The perfect American Muscle Car!  Perfect frame off restoration.  Car is exceptional in every possible detail!

List of items to make the perfect muscle car:
1970 Chevelle (one of the most desirable classic American cars and most desirable year for the Chevelle)
Numbers matching 454 Big Block Bored .030 over (total displacement 468 c.i.)
Borg Warner Super T10 close ratio 4spd transmission w/ Hurst shifter
Over-sized aluminum radiator (keeps engine at about 165F
Power Convertible top (Top grade canvas NOT vinyl)
Factory Air Conditioning
Cowl induction hood
Perfect Silver paint with black stripes
All badges and chrome are in mint condition
Engine compartment is completed with MT aluminum valve covers, Edelbrock aluminum intake and carb, Stainless Steel braided ignition wires, and just enough chrome.
(Original Chevrolet aluminum intake and 770 Holly carb are included with the car.)

This car is a TRUE SS 454 / 4spd with factory air.  However, it was NOT born a convertible.  It came from the factory as a SS hardtop.  During the restoration process a convertible car was acquired to be used as a donor for the top, this car's frame was boxed and strengthened at every critical point well beyond what the factory did on stock convertibles, the factory Chevelle convertible hardware and motors were installed and a custom convertible top was put on.

To complete the project,  hand sewn seat-covers were installed over the original factory bucket seats and all new carpet was installed throughout.
YOU WILL NOT FIND ONE SINGLE  BLEMISH ON THE FIT AND FINISH!

You will see a lot of Chevelles out and about, you will see very few if any that are equipped like this one AND in the incredible condition this car is in.  Top to bottom an absolute stunning vehicle! Again, no expense was spared,  no detail  overlooked.

Personal inspection by qualified buyer highly suggested!
Nice finished classic cars of lesser value may be considered as partial trade.  Not looking for any more projects at this time.

I can provide videos with sound of the vehicle running, just send me a message with your email included.

2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala

Fri, 31 May 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.

Jay Leno drives Joe Rogan's '65 Chevy Corvette restomod

Tue, Sep 1 2015

Restomod classics often look great rolling down the road, but they can be an absolute mess underneath. That's the problem comedian Joe Rogan discovered after purchasing his 1965 Corvette convertible that was already extensively modified. Once work began to improve it further, some serious issues were discovered. Now, Rogan's rejuvenated 'Vette has received a thorough update on the latest, extra-long edition of Jay Leno's Garage. Rogan's additional upgrades include a new interior and adding nacelles behind the seats. Power is up thanks to a supercharger for the LS1 V8. Now only do you get to hear the engine roar, but Leno and Rogan also take the convertible for a long ride in the Los Angeles hills. They reminisce about liking cars as kids, the current state of General Motors, and Rogan's work with the UFC. Leno also shares a funny story about a confusing discussion with Marlon Brando. With the beautiful 'Vette and the great conversation, there's a lot here to like. Related Video:

All of the Bond cars of 'No Time To Die' (caution for spoilers)

Thu, Sep 30 2021

Note: The following overview of the cars in No Time To Die contains spoilers. Read at your own risk, or come back after seeing the film to make sure you caught everything.   No Time To Die picks up right around where Spectre leaves us. James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) are driving along in Bond’s restored and iconic DB5 in Matera, Italy. Things donÂ’t stay all that cheery for long in picturesque Matera, though. As is tradition in Bond films, the first car chase hits us with an explosion of action in what's a super-long opening scene. Fourth-gen Maserati Quattroporte: The baddies in the beginning are driving a Maserati and chasing after Bond in the DB5. Specifically, theyÂ’re in a fourth-gen Quattroporte, which feels right for a chase scene in Italy. Its squared-off looks are mean enough, and its Italian growl is a good background soundtrack to the DB5Â’s inline-six. In addition to the Quattroporte, the chase scene in Matera is home to a couple of the best stunts of the entire movie, including the arch jump done with a Triumph motorcycle seen in trailers — Matera is extremely hilly. Eventually, Bond and Swann find themselves in the DB5 again together, which is where the famous gatling gun scene from the trailer commences, but not before the bulletproof windows and body of the DB5 are thoroughly tested. RIP to the first-gen Range Rover Classics and Jaguar XFs that joined the Maserati in pursuit of Bond (here's a list of other Bond cars over the years). As the DB5 escape scene concludes, we catch a glimpse of what appears to be a Ferrari from the 1970s. However, the view was far enough away that weÂ’ll need a second look to be sure of the exact model. Land Rover Series III: Next time we see Bond, heÂ’s fishing in Jamaica and driving around a blue Land Rover Series III. ItÂ’s yet another of the many Land Rover products featured throughout the film, and unlike most of BondÂ’s Aston Martins, this one doesnÂ’t seem to have any unique features. The other intriguing vehicle out of Jamaica? An old Chevrolet Bel-Air expertly and effectively piloted by Bond newcomer, Ana de Armas. Next up, we get a few shots of the new and still-not-for-sale Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engine supercar (also seen in trailers). BondÂ’s old boss M is in the scene which appears to have been shot in some secret wind tunnel of sorts. Much to our dismay, nobody ends up driving the Valhalla in the film. Could it be a teaser for what the next 007Â’s car is?
