This is the coolest car and very unique to come across these days,its a 1970 chevelle 4 door hardtop sedan with no window posts aka (sport sedan) looks like a regular 2 door with all the windows down.has the weirdest option list of factory a/c,p/s,radio delete,vinyl top,cloth interior,tinted glass,v8 307 eng,auto trans ( definatly ordered by a old lady).This is a 1 owner 33,000 orig mile car purchased from a estate ,has a beautiful interior with great chrome and trim like stepping back in time to 1970,the body is super solid with all orig sheetmetal and no signs of major accident damage or repair,the trunk is the nicest u will find with orig splatter and jack never used.This car is a time capsule that has a unlimited nos parts supply for a donor car or just a super clean lo mile 70 chevelle that wont break the bank..just look at all the orig chrome ,weatherstriping,bumpers,interior pieces,dash pad,even still has all 4 spiral shocks, this car is a treasure trove of parts if someone wants assy line stuff to restore there ss car or??underhood area is untouched and still has orig hoses and all decals and markings visible and a/c blows cold,this car will drive anywhere with a set of tires(i just took the car on a 600 mile trip)and it worked flawless(the wheels and tires in the pics are not included).The paint is decent but iam sure would look fantastic with a buff job as its been sitting in a garage untouched since 1980 when it was last inspected as evidence of the sticker on the windshield.the car is mostly orig paint besides some touch up on pass side due to scratches etc?This car is a steal at my price when i restored my 70 ss car i paid 2k just for the bumpers and these are very nice some of the stuff on this car is amazing like the perfect org rear pkg tray,orig shocks,all orig glass,dash pad is mint,jack never used,ash tray never used,radio delete plate,etc..etc..The only things changed on the car to get it road worthy were water pump,heater valve,battery,oil change,muffler tail pipe....these survivor sedans are really becoming popular as everyone dosent have 30k to spend on a nice chevelle.thanks for looking everyone and lood luck..

Nevada granted Daimler Trucks North America the first license to run an autonomous commercial vehicle on public roads in the United States Tuesday, marking another milestone in the technology's rapid advancement. Gov. Brian Sandoval and Daimler truck chief Wolfgang Bernhard promptly used the license to lap Highway 15 near Las Vegas in a newly revealed Freightliner Inspiration Truck. It was a clear signal that autonomous driving is big-rig reality, though it's still a long way from widespread use. Nevada certified two of Daimler's Freightliner Inspiration Trucks, which use the company's Highway Pilot system with a stereo camera, radar, and lane-keeping collision-prevention features to regulate the brakes and steering. The radar component has a long-range sensor that can cover 820 feet at an 18-degree angle and a shorter-range unit that stretches 230 feet at a 130-degree angle. The Inspiration trucks are based on the existing Freightliner Cascadia Evolution model used on US roads. In addition to the autonomous technologies, it also has futuristic design cues, including blue lighting in the front and a new hood and grille. While there are only two Freightliner Inspiration trucks in existence, Daimler expects to bring the Highway Pilot system into mass-produced big rigs by 2025, in time to capitalize on the market's predicted growth. The German truckmaker predicts the global hauling market will triple by 2050, and the United States will be a key part of that growth. Trucks carry 69.1 percent the nation's domestic freight tonnage and hauled 9.7 billion tons of freight in 2013, according to the American Trucking Association. Daimler expects autonomous driving to augment this growth, and perhaps evolve the role of the truck driver. Still, the company points out autonomous tech is not meant to replace drivers, but to assist them and relieve fatigue and monotony on long hauls. The driver has to stay in control for passing, in city traffic, and when hooking up the trailer. The company said autonomous driving also offers the potential for improved fuel economy – tests showed a five-percent gain Â– and lower maintenance costs. Daimler also said the technology could reduce congestion on the road. Much of this is attributable to the constant flow of traffic, which is aided by autonomous driving. While the benefits are becoming increasingly apparent, autonomous technology is still met with skepticism.

Some 2012-13 Chevy Volts may not have enough battery coolant

The 2012 and 2013 model year Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle may have a battery glitch caused by low coolant levels. No recall has been issued and General Motors is taking care of the issue at no cost to drivers. Some of the affected Volts may have lower-than-advisable coolant levels because of some pesky air pockets in the car's cooling circuit. When the coolant levels get too low, the charging system for the battery powering the car's onboard generator (i.e. the Rechargeable Energy Storage System, or the RESS) may be shut down, turning one's Volt into a run-of-the-mill gas-powered car, and a pricey one at that. The Car Connection says GM is advising owners of the '12 and '13 Volts to contact their local Chevy dealer for a free fix. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGreen for more details. We believe this is a separate issue than the one that brought 8,000 Volts back to the dealers for a battery coolant fix, what GM called a "voluntary customer satisfaction effort," a few years ago. General Motors sold 23,094 Chevy Volts last year after selling 23,461 Volts in 2012, so that fix-it list may get fairly lengthy.
