This is my 1967 Chevelle SS Convertible that I purchased in December 2000. I completed a frame off restoration in 2003. I have the documentation and pictures of the restoration. I purchased the car in Nixa, Missouri. The engine and transmission are not # matching to the car. All components are date code correct. The only modification I made was adding factory air conditioning (no freon installed), power windows, power top, power drum brakes, Hotchkis Springs and converted the am radio to an AM-FM. The drive train is a professionally built 396 with a Muncie 4 Speed. The rearend is a 12 Bolt Posi. The car has power steering. The gauge cluster was restored, however, the voltage gauge and temp gauge are not working correctly. The clock is a quartz replacement. The body and paint are in very good shape and look great. The only patch panels are in the rear quarters. I am not totally pleased with the passenger side and I can explain in more detail if you call. The bumpers have been re-chromed. The under side of the car looks great as well. All of the glass was replaced. The top is in great shape and works great. The car has 2300 miles on it since restoration.

As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).

Texas sues GM, saying it tricked customers into sharing driving data sold to insurers
Wed, Aug 14 2024Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday against GM over years of alleged abuse of customers' data and trust. New car owners were presented with a "confusing and highly misleading" process that was implied to be for their safety, but "was no more than a deceptively designed sales flow" that surrendered their data for GM to sell. The suit contends that at no point was selling driving data ever even suggested as a possibility, putting GM in violation of the state's consumer protection laws. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is seeking a jury trial and at least $10,000 per offense (every GM car sold in the state since 2015) and a hefty add-on of $250,000 in cases where the victim was over 65. Texas seems to be flying high after a recent $1.4 billion settlement from Meta over other privacy concerns. This may well be a way to solve any pending budgetary issues in the Lone Star State.
