NO RESERVE!!!!! 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Sport with 64k original miles. This is a ONE OWNER car with a CLEAN CARFAX. It has a 2.2l 4 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission. Some features include sunroof, automatic windows/locks, rear spoiler, AM/FM cassette/CD player, ice cold A/C, 16" chrome rims, and a very clean interior with no rips, tears, or stains. Back tires show 90% tread and fronts show 50% and may need new fronts in 8-10k miles. This car is very fuel efficient and will get you 30 miles to the gallon, great for those long commutes to college or work. This would be a great first car for someone. Switch on sunroof is not working and is probably just a fuse. There is some rust on the rocker panels & right rear quarter panel (as seen in photos). ABS light is on along with the traction light. (had a diagnostic done by our mechanic and read that a wheel bearing sensor is bad causing the ABS & Traction light to be on). This however does not effect the way the car drives or handles but would suggest getting fixed. The roof also show some clear coat showing fading. At the end of the day this is a 2002 with 64K MILES and runs great.
THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!! THE HIGHEST BIDDER IS OBLIGATED TO PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE IS BEING ADVERTISED LOCALLY AND I HAVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION AT ANYTIME.
ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS PLEASE CONTACT MIKE AT 419-573-2531.
THANK YOU AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!!!!!

GM recalling 118K Colorado, Canyon pickups over missing hood latches
Thu, 20 Dec 2012General Motors has announced a recall of 118,800 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks due to the possibility of secondary hood latches not being installed at the time of manufacture. The affected vehicles are from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 model years, all of which were built between November 9, 2009 and August 28, 2012.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, these trucks fail to "comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 113, 'Hood Latch System.' The hood may be missing the secondary hood latch." In other words, owners of these trucks could find their vehicles' hoods opening unexpectedly while driving.
The official recall campaign is expected to begin on January 17, 2013. Dealers will inspect the affected pickups and if a secondary hood latch is not present, one will be installed free of charge. Scroll down to read the official NHTSA report.
Best and Worst GM Cars
Thu, Apr 7 2022Oh yes, because we just love receiving angry letters from devoted Pontiac Grand Am enthusiasts, we have decided to go there. Based on a heated group Slack conversation, the topic came up about the best and worst GM cars. First of all time, and then those currently on sale, and then just mostly a rambling discussion of Oldsmobiles our parents and grandparents owned (or engineered). Eventually, three of us made the video above. Like it? Maybe we can make more. Many awesome GM cars are definitely going unmentioned here, so please let us know your bests and worsts in the comments below. Mostly, it's important to note that this post largely exists as a vehicle for delivering the above video that dives far deeper into GM's greatest hits and biggest flops, specifically those from the 1980s and 1990s. What you'll find below is a collection of our editors identifying a best current and best-of-all-time choice, plus a worst current and worst-of-all-time choice. Comprehensive it is not, but again, comments. -Senior Editor James Riswick Best Current GM Vehicle Chevrolet Corvette We were flying by the seats of our pants a bit in this first outing and my notes were similarly extemporaneous. When it came time to tie it all together on camera, I failed spectacularly. Thank the maker for text, because this gives me the opportunity to perhaps slightly better explain my convoluted reasoning. I chose the C8 Corvette because it's simply overwhelmingly good, and it's merely the baseline from which this generation of Corvette will be expanded. While the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing (more on that in a minute) is an amazing snapshot of GM's current performance standing and its little sibling so enraptured me that I went out and bought one, their existence is fleeting. Corvette will live on; forced-induction Cadillac sport sedans, not so much. So while all three are amazing machines when viewed in a vacuum, the Corvette stands above them as both a reflection of GM's current performance credentials and a signpost of what is to come. So, given the choice between the C8 and the 5V-Blackwing right now, I'd choose the C8. In 10 years, when the Blackwing is no longer in production and Corvette is in its 9th generation? Well, that might be a different story. Now, just pretend I said something even remotely that coherent when we get to the part of the video where I try to make an argument for the 5-V Blackwing as best GM car I've ever driven. Or just laugh at me while I ramble incoherently.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
