1991 Chevy Cavalier, blue in color, a result of a subsequent forfeiture.

This vehicle is a blue 1991 Chevy Cavalier, 2-door, with the odometer showing 79,815 miles, however, we have no way of knowing its accuracy. This vehicle has a 2.2 liter 4 cyl engine. This vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, however it does not work. This vehicle has an automatic shift on the floor. This vehicle has many scratches, dents, and rust all over, and the upholstery is dirty. There are pieces of the dash that are loose. The tires are well worn and there is no spare tire. This vehicle runs, however, it needs a new battery. It was last started and driven on 2-21-14. The past maintenance and repair history of this vehicle is unknown and it is being sold as is.

This vehicle was seized in an investigation which resulted in the subsequent forfeiture from a DWI in December 2012. When the vehicle was confiscated, it was being driven on the public streets and mechanically running. The title is registered to the Alexandria Police Department, is cleared and ready for new owner transfer.

If you plan to drive the vehicle from our lot, you will need to purchase plates and current registration tabs at our License Bureau located at 715 Elm Street, (Mon. - Fri., 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) For out-of-state buyers, if you wish to drive the vehicle off our lot, you may purchase a 31-day permit for $11.00 at the license bureau. For any buyer, if you choose to trailer or tow the vehicle, neither one will apply.

Buyer is responsible to contact us within 3 days of end of the auction, preferably as soon as possible. We DO NOT ship vehicles! Buyer is responsible for local pickup with payment in person within 7 days of end of the auction.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22.
