Up for sale is an exceptionally clean 1985 Chevrolet Caprice Classic 4dr sedan. It is a solid, rust free western car with only 96K miles. It is mechanically sound and can be driven anywhere in the country. It comes well equipped with A/C, Pwr windows, seats and locks, Pwr trunk opener , cruise control, tilt steering and an am/fm stereo radio w/cassette. It has new paint on a rust free body. It has new NOS body side moldings, grille, headlight bezels, rocker moldings and wheel well moldings. The interior ( seats, door panels, carpet and dash pad ) are either brand new or are like new. The front tires are new and the backs are low mileage. The trunk floor is rust free and still has the factory carpet on it. The vinyl top is perfect and would pass for brand new. The engine compartment is very clean and the car runs great. It gets about 25 mpg. The only negatives about the car is that the headliner has slipped and should be replaced. It does not , however, hang on passengers. The other negative is that the A/C needs a recharge. It works well, but just isn't very cold. Chevrolet planning low-cost Corvette under Stingray?

If you're burnt out on musings about the Chevrolet Corvette, you'll want to go ahead and skip this post. Motor Trend reports General Motors is hard at work on a low-cost version of the seventh-generation sports car for 2015. Rumored to be called the Corvette Coupe, the car will forgo the Stingray and skip the 450-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine in favor of a 5.3-liter V8 with under 400 ponies. If you're keeping track, that's a shade of the same engine found behind the headlights of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The report also suggests the Coupe will receive a number of aesthetic tweaks to separate it from the Stingray, including different front and rear fascias as well as new front fenders and a rear diffuser. Motor Trend says the point of all this is to cut the car's price tag, which means we may see a Corvette on showroom floors for less than $50,000 if this car comes to fruition.

2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala

The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.
