1990 Caprice Classic Stationwagon. 2nd owner, all original.

To start, in addition to the car I also have a few extra parts that I picked up in case of ever needing them, they will go with it too. (Extra glass headlight assembly, quart of original paint, vacuumed line, extra locking hubcaps, etc...)

I bought the car about two years ago from the original owner. It is a great car, always started, super dependable. It has a new battery, new radiator, new water pump, relatively new brakes, a recent oil change, new head gasket, new valve cover gaskets, new fan clutch, the head was gone through, 2 new motor mounts, new plugs and wires, coolant flush and change at 107,000 miles, carburetor was cleaned and rebuilt, new distributor cap and rotor, new fuel pump, and new exhaust in 2010.  My original plan was to fix the body up and put a bigger motor in the car, but because of finances and time that's just not in the cards.

The interior is cloth. The front has the power split front bench seat, the rear seat is the bench seat, and it has the rear facing jump seat in the back that is in excellent condition. The carpet is in great shape along with the door panels and the interior wood grain.

It has power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, rear window defrost, luggage rack, full size spare, electric windows, locks, and seats. The radio works along with the power antenna.

The car is fully operational and could be driven any distance to a new home.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns through ebay, my email james_armstrong_@hotmail.com , or by phone 612-418-5791. My name is Jim.
I can provide additional pictures of anything at request and I'll try to check ebay daily for messages.
I'd like to see the car go to a good home, and know that a new owner is enjoying as much as I have.

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize. Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

Wed, 28 Dec 2011

'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC

Sun, 06 Oct 2013

American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
