This 1977 Chevy Caprice 2dr. This Caprice is not a common one at all  1. It is a Sport Coupe Fastback only made like this in 1977. 2. It's the first year GM downsized it's Full size cars.  In 1977 there were no Chevy Impala's made you could only get full size chevy's in the Caprice model.  This Chevy is very clean with crisp lines and cleaner styling that started in 1977.

Sheet metal as you can see is Great no damage very clean. It has No Frame Damage (Please see pictures). Never been in an accident.

The interior is very clean dash pad has a small crack line nothing major, door panels near perfect, carpet is great like new.  The interior is Immaculate for it's age. Doors open with no problems. Headliner needs a little T.L.C. , but not a major problem to replace.

Mechanically this 77 Chevy Caprice drives Awesome very smooth.  All original 155HP 350 5.7 liter 4 barrel V8 with automatic transmission.  Engine is very powerful.  It comes with front disc brakes.  Comes with nice set of wheels and rims.

It is all original and UNMOLESTED it is becoming very Rare to find 1977 Chevy Caprice's in this great and Clean condition and also as a Fastback only in 1977 were they made as fastbacks.

All I ask from the new buyer is not to sell outside of the U.S. we are losing too many of our great rides to other countries and Please do not Donk this baby it's too much of a classic for that.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

    Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Vote in our poll below, then feel free to leave a few lines in Comments.

Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16

    Wed, 06 Feb 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.

Man spent $75 on a truck that lasted 38 years

    Mon, Jan 5 2015

Absurd as it is, some buyers today are worried about getting their car to last throughout the term of their seven-year car loan. Minnesota resident Bob Sportel has the opposite issue: his Chevrolet truck seemingly won't die. Sportel needed a cheap ride to get to work when he took a job at a farmer's co-op 38 years ago, so he bought a rusty 1957 Chevy pickup for $75 from a farmer; at the time, the 20-year-old truck was almost as old as Bob was. After nearly four decades of daily driving and an estimated 300,000 miles, Sportel is still driving the truck today. Bolts secure a fender, Bondo secures the lights, what looks like a whole roll of duct tape keeps him sitting on the bench seat instead of in it. For a 58-year-old pickup that's never seen a garage or a new coat of paint – but did get its oil changed four times a year – that's not bad; Sportel thinks his repair bill hasn't got above $1,000 for the entire time he's owned the truck. He still has no plans to get rid of it, saying, "It just becomes a part of you." You can watch his story in the video above. News Source: KARE11.com Chevrolet Truck Classics Videos
