1968 SS CAMARO , IT HAS A 396 cid. Engine WITH A MUNCIE M-21 4 speed . We got this car many years ago , and last year we fix the trunk where they had a fuel cell so the trunk pan had to be replaced , also have brand new tank straps and mounts that go with the car along with the gas tank. It has a new radiator and hoses and belts . New distributor . And all new breaks all the way around with lines and master cylinder . And wheel cylinders . New shocks front and rear . We put a new clutch in and got the engine running good but can use a carburetor rebuild . New emergency brake cables . Were installed too , I think this was a x track car and was parked in the early 80s and forgotten about . I also rebuilt the 12 bolt rear all new bearings and clutch Pack and seals . With all new break lines and drums . The body is needs to be redone but the floors are solid and 2 patches welded in on the rear floors the fronts are org. The car was org vinyl roof car and very clean . The frames are solid and it has frame connectors to with traction action bars , I also have the org rims and tires that came with the car it had rocket wheels on back with pinned tires and Crome slots up front. Now it has centerline rims and pro trac 50s on the back , CLASSIC LOOK.

Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
Stolen '57 Chevy Returned To Owner After 30 Years
Fri, Feb 21 2014Three decades after it was stolen, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been returned to a Northern California man - in better shape than when he originally owned it. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports Ian "Skip" Wilson was shocked to get a call from the California Highway Patrol informing him that his long-lost Chevy was taken off an Australia-bound cargo ship. The 65-year-old says the car has had a lot of work done on it since it disappeared from his Lake County home in 1984. It was returned with a monogrammed interior, 17-inch racing wheels, rack-and-pinion steering and a 350-horsepower V-8 engine. The retired mechanic says the two-door was in sorry shape when he bought it for $375 in 1975 with plans for fixing it up. GM expected to debut two new crossovers at Detroit Auto Show
Thu, Dec 15 2016Next month, General Motors is expected to debut two new crossovers at the North American International Auto Show. That's according to Automotive News and The Wall Street Journal, which reports that the successors to the aging Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain will finally make their debut. The two crossovers have been on sale since 2009 and 2010 respectively and are due for updates as the competition has newer models on the market. Both crossovers play in growing market segments where sales success is crucial for the respective brands. GM, and the automotive industry as a whole, has been shifting its focus towards crossovers in the last few years. The Traverse and the Terrain are some of the oldest SUVs on the market and are in dire need of an update. GMC's Acadia, the former corporate clone to the Traverse (and Buick Acadia), switched to a new platform in 2016. And the Terrain's platform-mate, the Chevrolet Equinox, was revealed a few months ago. Both the new Chevy and GMC models are expected to go on sale late in 2017 as 2018 models. Look for a follow up to the Traverse's sister, the Buick Enclave, to make an appearance soon.
