I have decided to sell my Camaro. It started out life as 1994 Hunter Green Z-28 with a 350 LT1 6 speed and cloth interior. It was transformed into a SS clone by the previous owner and I personally think he did a great job. When I first saw it I thought it was a true SS due to the fact that every SS feature on the car is a true GM part. Heres the list of modifications. BBK Throttle Body Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets Powerstop drilled and slotted rotors Centerforce clutch SS wheels SS Hood SS spoiler SS emblems Fidanza flywheel 98-02 center console Black leather intertior New headliner SLP intake Grantelli MAF 1LE Intake elbow Cutsom cut out/bolt in cat converter setup SLP loudmouth exhaust Hotchkis rear suspension package subframe connectors 3" Aluminum driveshaft SLP short shifter Summit rear end girdle SLP Jounce mount LT4 knock module Hypertech 160 degree thermostat JET skip shift eliminator Kenwood CD player and Infiniti speakers Optispark- Less than 1500 miles Rapid motorsports dyno tune Valve springs and push rods-500 miles Edelbrock Shorty Headers-Not installed Now for the engine. The stock engine was removed, cleaned, bored, and honed. All new bearings, 383 rotating assembly, rods pistons and rings. Heads have stage 1 port job and 1.6 roller rockers. LT4 custom ground cam. Intake manifold was ported to 52mm. I have a full write up of the engine that goes into way more detail. The "body" of the car itself and 160,000 miles on it. The engine and less than 10,000 miles on it and the paint job and all upgrades listed above have less than 15,000 miles. This is a awesome car that is fast and loves to be driven on roads with lots of curves. I have tons of receipts and car fax report. You wont be disappointed with this car. |

Sinkhole Opens Up In National Corvette Museum, Swallows Eight Cars
Wed, Feb 12 2014More cars are being moved inside the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. to avoid falling down the same sinkhole that swallowed eight classic sports cars early this morning, Autoblog reported. Museum officials said the hole was discovered when motion sensors activated around 5:45 a.m. The rescue mission can be viewed on the museum's live feed cameras, which weren't working after the sinkhole emerged. A 1993 ZR-1 Spyder and a 2009 ZR1 "Blue Devil," both on loan from General Motors, were among the cars that fell into the sinkhole. The museum owned the other affected Corvettes, which included a 1963 Corvette, a 1984 PPG Pace Car and the 1 millionth Corvette ever produced. The state of the cars at the bottom of the hole isn't known, but trial lawyer and sinkhole expert Ted Corless said the cars may be a total loss for the museum and GM. "Most states, including Kentucky, exclude damage caused by sinkhole activity," he said. "There will be, in all likelihood, a claim made, but a lot of policies would specifically exclude these kinds of damages." Corless has 15 years experience dealing with sinkholes. He said that typically neither the building, nor the cars themselves are protected under their insurance policies. "I would have to say, more likely then not, they're going to have an uninsured loss measured in the hundreds of thousands of dollars." The museum is closed Wednesday while a structural engineer assesses the damage. EcoCar3 will convert Camaro to bitchin' eco rides
Sat, Apr 26 2014In the 47-year-history of the Chevrolet Camaro, there have been countless college-age kids spending a ton of time getting under the hood and souping 'em up. Now, General Motors is adding a twist to the concept by donating 16 Camaros for the EcoCar challenge that puts university teams together to wring out better fuel-efficiency out of various vehicles. No word on whether there will be donuts on anyone's lawn, as suggested by 80's punks the Dead Milkmen, but the idea's never a bad one. EcoCar3 will feature 16 teams such as Arizona State, Penn State, Ontario's University of Waterloo and, of course, Detroit's Wayne State University. They'll spend the next four years "[reducing] environmental impact, while maintaining the muscle and performance expected from this iconic American car," as the EcoCar organizers say. The goal is to maintain body design and safety standards while boosting efficiency and lowering emissions, but the actual process is far more complicated than that description suggests. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Bosch are among the sponsors of the contest, which is also put on by the US Department of Energy and managed by Argonne National Laboratory. Penn State won Year Two of the three-year EcoCar 2 competition with its E85 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle converted out of a Chevy Malibu. The grand-prize winner of EcoCar2 will be announced in June. Check out the EcoCar3 website and see the announcement video below for more details. This content is hosted by a third party.
