This is my 2011 supercharged Camaro. I love this car. The more I drive it, the more I love it. I am selling this car because my wife and I are attempting to adopt a child from central Africa, which costs more than this car. To help raise funds and cover the expenses, I am selling this baby to get a real baby. I have too many toys, and this is one to go.
Please have a look at the photos carefully, they are worth 1000 words, but here is a little more description on the car. I can post more photos or email them if requested. Anything you need to see, I can send.
SLP supercharger kit (Magnusson TVS 2300 whipple, with a 3.8 pulley - the same supercharger that Hennessey and Lingenfelter use for their builds) was installed by Sterling Chevrolet in Sterling Virginia at 2235 miles. I have all of the paperwork and documentation for all services, dealership parts installs and everything. K&N intake system and Borla Exhaust installed professionally as well. The exhaust has ZERO drone, honestly the best sounding setup I've ever heard on a street car. Nice bark at startup and accel, but at cruising speeds there is no exhaust noise at all, sounds factory.
Other modifications include Suntek Carbon window tint with lifetime nationwide warranty. Debadged sides and rear. Carbon Fiber front Bowtie insert (removable). Blacked out rear tail bezels.(have originals)
OEM Pirelli Tires are still perfect, with factory tread depth intact. This car has never been raced, tracked, abused, etc.
Oil changed at 9K with Mobil 1 - never used anything else. Just put a fresh coat of wax on 2 weeks ago - Meguiars done by hand (my hands, never let anyone else wash this car). No swirl marks, scratches, dings etc.) Car is showroom condition. THE ONLY flaw on the car is a small scuff on the drivers side rear rim. I would not call it curb rash, as it is very light, not really into the material of the rim yet, and could probably be polished out - I haven't tried yet, just discovered it when washing it before the pics. I took a close up of it, please check it out.
This car still looks, drives, smells like it just rolled off the lot. This is a 2SS model with HUD display, two-tone leather, sunroof, dual power seats. Paddle shift (tapshift) transmission, rear backup sensors.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this car or making an offer. (Luke 512-876-3420) I am willing to deliver the car nationwide to you for a modest price, or help arrange pickup/transport or whatever you need. I am not desperate to sell it, nor do I really want to, but it must go. This is a great, solid, reliable car that you can take anywhere.

Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon get updated tachometers due to graphical error
Sun, Feb 8 2015After James Bearing bought a Chevrolet Colorado, he noticed a discrepancy between the truck's spec sheet and the truck's tachometer: Chevrolet said 3.6-liter V6 in the little pickup produces 305 horsepower at 6,800 rpm, but the the tachometer indicates a redline at 6,500 rpm. So either he wasn't making as much power as he was promised, or the tachometer display was incorrect. Bearing said he asked Chevy about it but got no response. Until now. A General Motors spokesman said the rev limiter is indeed set for 6,800 rpm, but the tach graphics "are slightly off" in the Colorado and the GMC Canyon, and submitted an SAE horsepower certification to back him up. If you're wondering how such a thing got past quality control... well, let's just say you're not alone. GM is going to fix "the graphics on future trucks," which makes it sound like Bearing will just have to learn to live with the indicated redline he's got. He could always pretend he's driving a sleeper, with four more ponies waiting to be unlocked in the danger zone for those who dare. How real is the Chevy Bolt EV and will it really cost $30,000?
Tue, Jan 13 2015"This is us bragging that we can do this kind of car." That's how Michael Simcoe, GM's executive director for NA exteriors, described the Chevy Bolt EV concept, which made a surprise appearance at the Detroit Auto Show today. While there was talk of a 2017 production debut, this is for sure a concept vehicle. But that means the ideas behind the vehicle are perhaps more important than the details. For example, no one is talking about what size battery might appear in a production Bolt, but Simcoe would talk about how rapid progress in battery improvements made it possible for GM to make the bold Bolt declaration that promises 200 miles and a price tag of around $30,000 (after incentives). But if the Bolt makes it to market, it won't be until 2017 (as rumored) or later, is it really fair to promote the car as being available with a federal tax credit? For one thing, credits for plug-in vehicles may change in the next few years, but if the laws stay the same, each manufacturer is limited to 200,000 vehicles before the credits start to decline. GM is justifiably proud that it's sold over 70,000 Volts thus far, but with a new model coming out later this year and a few years to go until the Bolt potentially arrives, GM could be pushing right up against that 200,000 limit when the Bolt goes on sale. But Volt executive chief engineer Pam Fletcher told AutoblogGreen that, "We're just trying to take some of the confusion out." "Think about talking to the average consumer," she said. "First, going through the explanation of how the federal tax credit was set up, how it's being used and so on. [In the industry, we] have the luxury of understanding the nuances of that regulation, but right now people who aren't in the marketplace, they don't have the luxury of all that. It's already hard to communicate the details so we gave them data in a way that is what they're used to seeing." There was one question that drove the two-year Bolt gestation and design period, Simcoe said: What does a better battery offer a vehicle designer? "We've got a number of spaces we play in for powertrain technology and obviously electrification is one of them," he said. "With Volt 1 and then the Spark EV, with that development and batteries getting better for us, we started doing some practical packaging to deliver a vehicle which was not the traditional aero form which you see around electric vehicles.
