2010 Camaro LS 3.6L V6 Standard 6 speed transmission. Car is in near new condition, barely driven, always garaged, never any damage. Purchased from original owner who drove the car back and forth to work (approximately 6 miles a day). He was an older gentleman that babied the car until his wife said she wanted a sedan and that's how I got it. It's a blast to drive. Handles very well and has good power, 323HP! A car comparable of more expensive sports cars for less money. In town it averages about 25mpg and on the highway closer to 28mpg. So it's economical and quick. Overall in excellent condition and you would not be disappointed. Only reason for sale is that I would like a newer truck for pets and gear. Car is located for inspection and pick up in zip code 28601. Would consider delivering up to 100 miles. Shoot me an offer! Please Email, text or call 845 430 4106.

GM to idle car production at five factories as Americans continue CUV love affair
Mon, Dec 19 2016In case you needed another reminder that Americans have fallen out of love with sedans, General Motors today announced plans to idle five factories in January in a bid to cut its inventory to 70 days. Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly ( Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac CT6, Chevrolet Volt and Impala) and Fairfax Assembly in Kansas ( Chevy Malibu) will stop production for three weeks. Lansing Grand River ( Cadillac ATS and CTS, and Chevy Camaro) is going down for two weeks, while Lordstown, OH ( Chevy Cruze) and Bowling Green, KY ( Chevy Corvette) will go idle for a week each, Automotive News reports. GM's shutdown reflects a broader problem with the company's supply – at 847,000 vehicles, the company's supply increased unsteadily from a low of 629,000 units in January of 2016. That's more than a 25 percent increase in the past year. Citing information from Autodata, The Detroit News reports that at the end of November, GM had a 168-day supply of LaCrosses, 177 days' worth of Camaro, 170 days of Corvette, 121 days for Cruze, 119 days for ATS, 132 days for CTS, and 110 days of CT6. Meanwhile, inventory of the company's more popular vehicles is actually below the professionally accepted 60- to 70-day supply, The News reports. The Trax, Colorado pickup, and GM's full-size SUVs are sitting below 50 days and experiencing year-over-year sales increases. GM needs a rethink of its inventory levels, which is something that's apparently coming. "We're going to be responsible in managing our inventory levels," GM spokesman Jim Cain told The News. Another unnamed spokesman told Automotive News the company's day-to-day supplies would "fluctuate before moderating at year-end." But at least one analyst thinks this won't be the last time Detroit needs to stop production to level things out. "Incentives are elevated, residuals are declining, and rates are rising," Brian Johnson, an analyst with Barclays, told The News. "And while GM in particular may benefit in the months ahead from new product launches, it's important to recognize that GM's inventory is elevated at the moment, and it wouldn't surprise us if they need to announce another production cut – which could pressure the stock." Chevy donates first 2016 COPO Camaro to United Way
Fri, Jan 29 2016Want to get your hands on the first new COPO Camaro? Scottsdale will be the place to be this weekend. That's where Barrett-Jackson will auction off the drag-racing muscle car with the serial number 2016COPO001. The example on the docket is the very same show car that Chevy revealed at the SEMA show just a couple of months ago. Like every new COPO Camaro, it's based on the new sixth-generation coupe and packs an array of drag-racing upgrades. Those include a three-speed automatic transmission, solid rear axle, and adjustable suspension. While Chevy will offer the new COPO Camaro with a choice of three engines, this particular example packs the 5.7-liter supercharged V8, as well as a unique red and black livery designed by Chevy drag racing driver Courtney Force. 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale are destined to go to United Way, following previous examples that benefited wounded veterans. You can bet it will raise a pretty penny at auction, but if you miss this one, of course there will be more. Just don't wait around too long as the Bowtie brand will only make 69 of them this year. 2016 COPO Camaro No. 1 Sale to Benefit United Way Courtney Force designed show car to be auctioned for United Way 2016-01-26 DETROIT – Chevrolet will auction off the first, sixth generation 2016 COPO Camaro race car to raise money for United Way. The purpose-built COPO Camaro, serial number 2016COPO001, will be sold on Friday, Jan. 29, at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. All proceeds of the winning bid will benefit United Way. "This is a special opportunity to purchase the first of the sixth generation, 2016 COPO Camaro while also helping such a great cause," said Jim Campbell, U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports. The COPO is a powerful, purpose-built Camaro designed to race in NHRA Stock Eliminator class. The COPO Camaro legacy continues with an all-new sixth-generation version. This modern-looking machine infuses legendary COPO performance with the modern, lighter and stronger design of the 2016 Camaro. Chevrolet introduced the sixth generation COPO Camaro No. 001 last November at the SEMA Show and includes a personalized look created by Chevrolet and NHRA Funny Car driver Courtney Force. It features a Red Hot exterior color with Courtney Force-signature graphics and red-accented grille trim. "I was extremely honored to work with Chevrolet and help design the 2016 COPO Camaro," said Courtney Force.
GM starting to talk seriously about 200-mile EV
Sun, Oct 12 2014We've been hearing word of a 200-mile EV from Chevrolet for a while now. First, there was General Motors then-CEO Dan Akerson hinting at a $30,000, 200-mile EV that would take the competition by surprise. Then Akerson confirmed that GM is working on a 200-mile EV in a speech in March. LG Chem, which supplies batteries to GM and other automakers, recently said it was working on batteries for EVs with a range of 200 miles. GM's head of global product development Mark Reuss just re-confirmed that there are plans for an EV with a 200-mile range, and sources have told Automotive News what that car will be. While Reuss didn't mention anything about a specific model or platform, two undisclosed sources with knowledge of GM's plans have said that an EV with a range of about 200 miles is indeed in the works, and that it will be based on the Chevrolet Sonic. The sources also gave a timeline for the car, saying it is slated for sometime in 2017. According to Reuss, the plan is for Chevy to offer a lineup of electric cars, with the 200-mile EV joining ranks of the Chevrolet Volt and the Spark EV. He didn't hint at a timeline, but if the sources are correct, we could see a Sonic EV being built within a few years. Reuss sees demand for it, too. When speaking of the Spark EV, currently only available in California and Oregon, he says that "people wish we would sell it all around the country." If he's right about that, it's not difficult to imagine people taking interest in Chevrolet's 200-mile electric car, whether or not it's a Sonic.
