Selling my beloved 2000 Camaro SS, V8 5.7L Automatic, with 158K miles. I had it for 6 years and bought it with 55K. More powerful than the same generation Z28!
Hard to find model that was not abused or raced. This was my daily driver for the past 6 years.
ALWAYS used synthetic AMSOIL motor oil and filter. If you haven't heard about AMSOIL, check it out online. They had the synthetic oil before Mobil One and it's recognized and much appreciated performance oil in motor racing.
Just purchased a 2012 Camaro SS and I have to let the old one go.
Now, a few things about the 2000 Camaro.
All functional, stock SS with just a few modifications:
K&N Cold Air Intake
Kenwood Excelon CD/Radio (Bluetooth phone connection with dedicated microphone, steering wheel controls, MP3, USB).
Crossed / Drilled Baer Brakes and ceramic pads.
Aftermarket projector/LED accents headlights
The car has the following options (and probably more, I am sure I will miss some):
Automatic Transmission
Air Conditioning
Power Everything (steering, brakes, door locks, windows, driver seat)
T-Tops (awesome in warm weather!)
Leather Seats
ABS (4 wheels)
Cruise Control
Airbags
These are repairs / improvements done to the car:
New front speakers, old ones were blown. Speakers are latest GM revision that corrected the weakness in the original speakers
New Transmission replaced 2 years ago, about 30K on it
New water pump, thermostat
New belts
Tires with about 60% life left in them (275/40-17 front and rear, OEM size)
Driver side fender Carbon Fiber hash racing stripes
Rear wing Carbon Fiber accent
Crossed / Drilled Baer Brakes and ceramic pads
SS embroider floor mats
I was involved in a rear bumper incident where the bumper was scratched so I had the insurance to replace it with a new one painted to match by Craftsman Auto Body shop.
Needless to say that this is a FAST car, with over 300HP and a swwwwwweeeeet exhaust note from the SLP package (SS models built with SLP performance package, functional ram air hood, sport suspension, premium 10 spoke wheels, curved rear wing with LED center brake light. . .)
Vehicle is SOLD AS IS. Come see it in person before you buy or ask questions.
Thank you for looking.
I have the title in hand, will only sell in person, no shipping or other unfair techniques.

Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles
Mon, May 13 2024It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.
2014 Chevrolet Cruze TD fires up its new diesel motor
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Ever since General Motors confirmed plans to produce a diesel-powered Cruze back in 2011, we've been eagerly awaiting its arrival. And as part of the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, Chevrolet has pulled back the cover on its oil-burning compact sedan, set to go on sale in the near future with a starting price of $25,695, not including $810 for destination.
The heart and soul of the Cruze TD (that's its official name) is a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline four-cylinder engine rated at 148 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, mated solely to a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine also has an overboost function that will increase torque to 280 lb-ft for up to ten seconds. The full brace of official specs haven't been released, but GM tells us that highway fuel economy will come in at 42 miles per gallon. If that number sounds familiar, it's because the Volkswagen Jetta TDI has the exact same rating. Unlike the Jetta, however, the Cruze TD can run on B20 biodiesel, where as the Volkswagen can only accept B5.
Model-specific changes to this 2014 Cruze TD include an aero kit and unique 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's a full leather interior, and Chevrolet will provide two years of complimentary scheduled maintenance, not to mention a 100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
China's rise, global restructuring wither GM's Korea division
Wed, Jan 7 2015An article in the Daily Kanban suggests the sun is setting on GM Korea, and it could already be well into dusk. GM Korea came about when General Motors, along with co-investors SAIC and Suzuki, bought Daewoo Motors from parent company Daewoo Group in 2001; it had a previous tie-up with GM, a joint venture that ended in 1992, although Daewoo cars were based on GM cars until 1996. Over the decade following the purchase, it became such an important part of operations that it was renamed GM Korea in 2011, "to reflect its heightened status in [the] global operations of GM." Just two years later, the printed rumors were that the subsidiary responsible for a fifth of Chevrolet's global production could be shutting down. The division's sales were down almost 21 percent through November of last year, counting domestic South Korean sales, exports, and CKD – Complete Knock Down – products. That makes the labor strife, already an issue for four years, even more acute, reports say the subsidiary will lose $36 million a year if it can't get the job and wage cuts it wants, and government concessions can't make up for the losses. And it gets worse, so head over to Daily Kanban to read the rest of the story.
