This is a true SLP ss camaro convertible featuring the LS1 and a 6 speed manual transmission. It is Triple black. Aluminium SS wheels, hurst shifter. Adult owned and the vehicle has never been smoked in and has been garage kept. NEVER driven in the snow and only been in the rain if I got caught in it. It is completely rust free. The interior is in great shape only issue is an area on the drivers side carpet where it is rubbed through (see pic) It has never been to the track or on a dyno. It does have traction control and can be turned off with the push of a button.

Also there are many new parts- Fuel filter, Clutch pedal return spring and bushings, Battery tray/coolant over flow assembly and Battery. All fluids have been replaced as well. 3" exhaust from the Y-pipe back and dumps over the axle. Some LED lighting.
NOTE: Carfax does show a previous accident from the first owner and I have had several technicians inspect it and can not find any evidence of any heavy damage appears to have been cosmetic if any at all. All doors, hood and trunk close with proper gaps. Included with the sale will be Parade boot (plastic top cover) and leather trunk storage bag, Rear bilstein shocks (one will need the lower rubber eye replaced) Stock suspension parts (front struts with mounts and stock springs) Both rear stock springs, Stock tunnel brace, Stock air intake system AND a New set of Energy suspension Front control arm bushings in the box. Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
Chevy might've pulled out of NASCAR if it weren't for new Gen 6 car

On one hand, it's some of the closest racing anywhere in motorsports, with actual passing and door-handle-to-door-handle action as a matter of course. But on the other, it's become template racing - a personality-driven sport more about the drivers than any sort of loyalty to a particular automaker. The Car Of Tomorrow format really rammed that message home, with a racecar's identity coming down to little more than headlamp stickers slapped on the nose. That's not necessarily a bad thing in and of itself, but we've wondered for some time what's in it for the automakers, who pay big money to stay in a series that has had little increasingly little do with street car sales, let alone innovation.
Apparently General Motors was beginning to wonder the same thing. In a new ESPN report, Rick Hendrick, team owner of Hendrick Motorsports, suggests that GM would have seriously considered leaving NASCAR if it wasn't for the move away from the COT to the new Gen 6 racer. According to Hendrick, GM North America boss Mark Reuss spearheaded the charge away from the 2007 COT and toward a racecar with clearer automaker ties - cars like the new Chevrolet SS racer shown above.
