This is an excellent condition Camaro SS/SLP car with only 34,000 original miles

This car is Arctic White with a tan cloth interior. It has T-Tops which seal perfectly and do not leak. It is also equipped with power locks, power windows and A/C. I bought this car from the original owner who had it as a weekend car and it was always garaged and covered. I bought it as my weekend car as well and it has been in my garage and covered as well. Since buying it, I upgraded a few items:

Replaced SS Air Box with SLP Cold Air Intake, BMR Lowering Springs, BMR Rear Lower Control Arms, BMR Rear Sway Bar, Touchscreen DVD Player Radio, Replaced interior Speakers, Installed Amps for the speaker and a JL 10" Subwoofer with side mount box (does not interfere with T-tops storage in the rear), Spintech Muffler (original one had too much drone but is available to buyer if they want it) and flat black Berger style rear panel (have original rear panel, goes with the car to the buyer), custom SS grille, SLP Strut Tower Bar

This car was never driven in the winter and never saw salty roads. The car has no rust and is a true collectable. Even the floor mats are like brand new. The prior owner and I have rubber mats over them so they are still in new condition. The car has a minor scratch on the driver side quarter panel, not through the paint, on the surface and can most likely be buffed out (see photos) and it has tiny holes in the black part of the headlights, the original owner had installed blackouts, I took them off. Also, the driver side power lock button needs to be replaced but the power locks work. I have the removable moon roof inserts for the car as well but never used them, still look new. Whoever wins this car will be extremely happy with this fast and truly collectable car.

Corvette owner finds stolen car, but can't get it back [w/video]

Wed, Feb 25 2015

It's not too uncommon to hear about owners being reunited with their stolen cars decades after reporting them missing. The story of Terry Dietrich in Georgia starts that way with police finding her lost 1972 Chevrolet Corvette after over 40 years. However, this case takes a different turn because unless she wants to bid on it, Dietrich's likely not getting the 'Vette back. Just six months after purchasing it in 1972, Dietrich's blue Corvette was stolen in Georgia, and in 1975 the sports car found its way to a man in North Carolina. He kept the car right up until his death just a few months ago, and that's when restorer Gary Green bought the 'Vette from his widow, according to Yahoo Autos. Unfortunately, after acquiring the Corvette, Green found some major discrepancies. For one thing, the listed VIN pointed to a '69 convertible, and there was a different serial number on the frame. Green reported the problem to the local police, and they figured out it was the 'Vette Dietrich lost over four decades ago. Consequently, the cops impounded it. The issue now arises that while Dietrich is the victim of the theft, she isn't technically the car's last legal owner. After the Corvette was stolen, she reported the crime to her insurance company, and it paid on the claim, which essentially forfeited her ownership. To make matters slightly more confusing the company can't find the title on the 'Vette either, according to Yahoo Autos. That leaves the well preserved 'Vette sitting in a police impound lot. It will likely go to auction.

Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

Chevrolet Camaro goes to South Korea - Click above for high-res image
General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.
